PLS - Pilbara Minerals

Bugger! Bugger! Similar to my BHP bus, PLS is a couple of cents more than I wanted.. still waiting. Been spending time in the garden, only able to check when having a break.

Ahh Rabbito too much head down and bum up. The PLS train stopped at my station and on I jumped. It has closed a couple of cents under my buy in price, but as long as the upward surge continues, I is a happy chappie.

Good evening Rabbito I trust all is well in rabbit warren territory
So far so good. Thanks for asking. My "warren garden" is still in a mess. Needs plenty of time to tidy up, with old age/health needs plenty of sit down catching my breaths back. Another over seas holiday is at the planning process. Leaving the trip planning to other capable brain storming. Have to make a few more bundles of notes not coins!. Hope it's a great day for me.

Travel well but slowly

Good morning
Been report today 28/04/23:
Pilbara Minerals produced and shipped less spodumene concentrate for a lower price in the March quarter than in the three months to December. Production fell 9 per cent to 148,131 dry metric tonnes due to plant maintenance shutdowns with shipments down 3 per cent to 144,312 dmt at an average sales price of $US4840/dmt, down 15 per cent on the December quarter price.

Pilbara, which paid an inaugural 11c dividend following a strong first-half, reaffirmed full year guidance of 600,000-620,000 dmt of spodumene concentrate but warned of softer prices in the June quarter "until pricing for lithium chemicals stabilises, including domestic pricing in China".

But costs are rising with the previously stated guidance on unit operating cost increasing to $600-$640/dmt, from previous estimates of $580-$610/dmt.

Net cash position at the end of March was $2.4bn.

Have a very nice Friday and May Day Long Weekend :)
Not holding

Kind regards

Once again PLS did we well, even though I left the train at the wrong station this morning.
Happy with an 11c pick-up but could have been a fair bit more as it surged another 15c.
Looks as if the peasants and others liked the announcement yesterday.
I thought that abour $4.10-15 would be it, but wrong again.

Well I think the penny is dropping on how many batteries are required. ?

Still holding.
Sadly I departed the PLS train with a tidy rsult a short time ago.
And now looks as if I have arrived at the wrong station to reboard. Must have bben an express that passed me by not an all stops.

Apparently the shorters want it down to their target of around $4.10 and Goldman Sachs have put a valuation of $4.10 on PLS.
When it gets there (if it does) they will then do the usual and upgrade their valuation to $4.70, rinse and repeat.

The State Street shorters should have an announcement soon that their holding is now below 5% from 203 mill at 7%.

This crap shouldn't be allowed.
