It will be a factor in a lot of people's minds for sure. Coast to coast political control. Makes Rudd's job harder. Not that anyone would want to exploit that situation if they had a wish to stay in power longer than one term (imo).Coalition in power federally and the states being ruled by the ALP.
I mean, people used to say they'd prefer the upper and lower houses to be under different control. (And perhaps that is part of the reason that Libs are a bit on the nose federally ??)
