NGL - Nightingale Intelligent Systems

Anyone want to discuss the fundamentals with me? Getting very lonely here!
🤭 Have squizzed at your thread in the past. Not much historical data to judge financial fundamentals but I guess you refer to product fundamentals. Does have a whiff of being a tech 'story stock' while acknowledging some high profile customers.
How come it seems to have launched at what looks like 16c from the chart yet the A$8m AUS raise for 1:1 CDIs was @ 35c?
Is there really a significant I.P moat given the sluggish pace of business and the poor stock market reception?
'Fundamentals - how about this when in the prospectus to the ASX, roughly a year ago, the chairman said they were at a "tipping point"?

Thank you for the reply. Glad to have you here. I think the CDI ended up being at 20 cents rather than 35 (there was an amended prospectus that went through)

What do you think of the tech though?

Mate, I'm hopeless at tech. I watched the youtube clip and thought wow, but I think that about all tech. It pbly depends on how secure and valuable their intellectual property is, there're drones everywhere. Prestigious customers like NYPD might use it but how much are they ready to pay and how sticky? The proof's in the pudding so far to my eyes, they aren't pulling a profit and their revenue has only crept up a little. Thanks for clearing up about the supplementary prospectus and lower ASX issue price - I skipped that.
Tech company's not making money are not attractive to me these days, which is subjective. But I'm very susceptible to good story stocks to my past detriment so I stay clear of them, they elicit a reaction like lollies do to a diabetic - like I buy bathroom fittings and cement manufacturing companies these days, lol

I really do appreciate the insight! I did manage to track down the patent if you wanted to take a look.

They seem like the real deal. But I've been wrong before.

with market cap now of $5million, trading is scrappy, irregular.

has been listed a year.

.
not my sort of stock .. if I wanted to sell, is there a buyer around?
also , a patent isn't a moat

Why are my picks always so bad?!
Lol, well it's not over yet - you never know.
Take advice - I do. Greg Canavan at fat tail investment advisory is good but might not be for your type of stock market activity. Which is ... gambling haha.
By losing I was forced to know a bit better my own proclitivities, one of which is .. gambling. Gambling on seemingly great stories but chewing up funds while profit is in the future. Often there is no such future, only share dilution and 'entrepreneurs' getting even richer on fat salaries/fees while taking absolutely no risk (that's what you're for). Real entrepreneurs risk their own money.

I do have a very risk-on approach to micro caps. So I guess that constitutes gambling. I just did a ton of research and thought this was the real deal.

Appreciate the advice @finicky - you're a good person.

Hi @tech/a

If there was some good news, wouldn't that lead to an increase in liquidity and thus momentum? Or is that not necessarily the case?

Cheers,
verce

Yes more often than not.
I've caught some crackers and forgot about many only to see they did eventually run.
My point is to put them on a watchlist and if you can an alert notification and buy into Momentum and liquidity.
Normally in and out quickly

Looking at trading the market hasn't moved so no reason to purchase.
Generally, I find announcements don't react as you would expect.
