These grow wild in my back yard, we have flower spikes up to 7m high, 2 or 3 on each plant.

Currently 4 flowering, some finished, more coming

Something that most nursery folk don't know is that should the spike be broken or cut it will still shoot flowers every 500mm up the stem.

They look quite spectacular when it happens.
