Economics. The middle class. Manufacturing.US politics is insane no matter how you frame it and I am no fan of the Democrats but I am surprised Trump is still seen as a disrupter and will change things for the better.
The narrative has shifted pretty hard.Oh well, this just shows what happens when the narrative changes.
Elon Musk has expressed gratitude as major brands, including IBM IBM, Walt Disney Co. DIS, Comcast CMCSA, and Warner Bros. Discovery WBD, resumed advertising on X, formerly Twitter.
In my opinion they're going to have to swing the pendulum pretty hard just to get America back to the center, and yes there is a danger they go too far to the authoritarian right, not good. The narrative has shifted pretty hard.
This is why minorities shouldn't throw in with the left. They leave you naked in the spotlight. The vast majority of the time it is white liberals and propagandists whipping up a frenzy. They will use minorities as a cover.
But when the narrative shifts. Morals get rubbery and they wash their hands.
I have no idea why they thought "Trans story time" was a good idea for kids. Or the drag shows they took their kids too.
They lost their minds.
But the right will do the exact same thing. In fact it's already happening. They start shifting into lunacy. Hopefully it calms down and sticks at centre rather than starts radicalising centre right into right and then far right. I'm against authoritarians from either side.
I think it needs to go that little bit too far right to remind people why you don't go to extremes. Also to shift the left back to middle ground. The delusional takes need to be broken first. In my opinion they're going to have to swing the pendulum pretty hard just to get America back to the center, and yes there is a danger they go too far to the authoritarian right, not good.
I still believe there are moderating voices who are joining the administration, Tulsi, RFKjnr, Musk et al.
Of note, Trump and the above mentioned are all ex Democrats and they are going to be the main headline players in the administration. Additionally, apart from the big coastal cities and a small number of lunatic leftists, America is basically a right-wing country, certainly in comparison to the rest of the anglosphere and Continental Europe.
I think the main project in the United States should be the de-propagandising of media. To some extent the rows of the legacy media in losing great chunks of the audience is a sign that that may be starting to happen. That could possibly drag the Democrats back towards the center, but no sign of that yet apart from a couple of notable exceptions, Shapiro and Fetterman, maybe a couple of others. The rest at the moment are doubling down on the BS.

But aren't we the 51st State of the Good 'ol US of A????I think it needs to go that little bit too far right to remind people why you don't go to extremes. Also to shift the left back to middle ground. The delusional takes need to be broken first.
I do think the "Trump mania" in Australia is in for a shock when we get smashed because of tariffs filtering through. As I said Trump is great for the US and the dismantling of the loopy side of the left. Absolute dogsht for Australia.
You have to factor in a crash as our economy is built on shaky ground.
Well the good old left have left a huge steaming turd, with this one.The narrative has shifted pretty hard.
