Mr. Trump (The Donald) To Win in 2024

Looking at Trumps cabinet picks and he is just another swamp rat. Too many shills.
It seems to me though that the worst of the shills have been given jobs in which they can't do too much damage.

Got to say Trump is much more organised this time around.

There's a lot of guys with deep histories once you scratch the surface. A lot of war hawks as well. Australia is in for a rough ride.

Dutton for Australia would be a really bad choice at the moment. I do think albo is terrible with the new digital laws coming in though. But huge risk to trade right now.

Yes, true with Trump holding all the disparate guys together. If he had a medical episode??
Pays working for Fox again that Trump watches from his bedroom.

Albo in trouble right now, has big loser stamp on his forehead after the referendum.
Not sure about Dutton either. Will he kowtow too much to the USA? We don't need another trade war with China.

Just have to sit back and hope. We are a trading nation and can't afford to look inwards.

I understand where Trump is going, and it would have been called a leftist policy in Reagan's time.
Economic liberalisation policy isn't working to help the poor Americans.

Trump promised to help the poor not by lifting the minimum wage etc. but by removing the cheap competition (which will work) and encouraging manufacturing (which won't work as they will use robots). It would be a big betrayal if he doesn't kick out the immigrants because the wealthy want to retain their maid servants and farm workers.

Matt Gaetz Attorney General. Way better than swamp rat Merrick Garland.

FBI Wray also needs to go, which was a Trump pick on the recommendation of Chris Christie.

Tulsi Gabbard is also picked for DNI. Great pick

Basically we are stuffed. Yeah both Albo and Dutton are truly diabolical, but most of our coming malaise is due to decisions taken over decades. Haven't we all been banging on about these things for years, watching incredulously as they make stupid decision after stupid decision?

@#$&ing depressing.

It's terrible. Government needs to reign in spending imo. Instead they open department after department. Albo is the worst at this point. The problem is that Dutton looks even worse than albo.

Albos saving grace is that they are pushing trade. Dutton would have us at war with China for Trump. Screw what the yanks want. Trump might be the right pick for the US but he won't do us any favours. We need to stay focused on Asia.

Joe Biden shows what it means to be a decent human being by inviting the President elect to the White House and congratulating him on his victory.
Um, Joe Biden will play whatever bs acting role that profits him. Nothing he does has any genuine meaning. Now that he has dementia from a lifetime of lying he just wants people to like him. Trump is showing great courtesy and kindness in shaking the hand of someone who was part of the conspiracy to destroy him. Trump had the 2020 election stolen from him.

Nah I think he just likes to see people on their knees... begging.
Why would Rubio give up one of the most cushy jobs on the planet - probably better than being the president - to work for Trump on his knees when he knows Trump has a tendency to sack everyone after 2 years?

Wouldn't surprise me however if Trump is appointing the people he wants out of politics. As they resign their senate and house seats to take up administration positions someone else will be filling in for them.

Trump loves a$$ kissers but he also loves people who get things done. He's giving these people a crack and they're gonna be gone if they don't perform.

Some excellent looking picks for cabinet and other roles.
The ones I've liked best so far are:

This one. He spanked AOC in show trial hearings when she put on her fake compassion act about illegals. He's patriotic, not a politician, super qualified as an ex cop and ex ICE director. I could kiss him but I'm not gay and he's fugly. He's a different species to the treasonous lying grub Mayorkas. The border patrol will love him.

Border czar: Tom Homan

A former Immigration and Customs Enforcement director, Homan was named Trump’s “border czar,” tasked with cracking down on immigration and overseeing the “the Southern Border, the Northern Border, all Maritime, and Aviation Security,” according to a statement from the president-elect.

Then there's thissy. She cute, bright as a button, a highly articulate fierce debater and was a staunch defender of Trump when he was against the wall. She went in hard against anti-semitism and the left academia on college campuses. Described by one outlet as a gift to Netanyahu in this new role.

United Nations ambassador: Elise Stefanik

The House GOP conference chair who just won her fifth term representing an upstate New York district, Stefanik has limited diplomatic experience but has been an outspoken critic of the United Nations and a staunch ally of Israel.

This one I know nothing of but am surprised and super stoked to learn that Trump gets to appoint his head of the CIA. This should result in some beneficial explosions in the swamp?

CIA director: John Ratcliffe

Ratcliffe, the former head of national intelligence in the last Trump administration, was selected to lead the CIA. He previously served as a congressman from Texas; Trump, in a statement, called him “a warrior for Truth and Honesty with the American Public.” Ratcliffe also served as a member of Trump’s impeachment team during the Democrats’ first effort to boot the then-president from office.

Something DJT didn't worry about when he lost last time.

Well, it is speculated that Joe and Jill voted for Trump after getting punted from the nomination, but whatever.

But this begs the greater question, do we want Miss @#$&ing Congeniality, or the person who will best promote the interests of the country?

Give me an irate, curmudgeonly @sshole who does the best job for the country over a smarmy, insipid, but polite weakling any day.

Señior Milei is proving this in real time down in Argentina.

This is not about somebody who you would like to have a beer with at the pub at Noble Falls (though I would have a beer with the God Emperor any day), it is about who can advance the interests of the nation. Say what you like about the orange deity, but Kamala was not up to this job in any way, shape or form.
