She got enough to block the bid at a price that she won't pay for the remainder but she still has to keep the board and Goyder etc happy so unlikely to be less than $2 ?
@Boggo Can't see the Mining Queen coming back into the market at $3 or more when she will probably get what she wants for a pittance. Closing SP $1.03 with 21.830 million shares changing hands. Under a dollar it's a gift.

I must have posted on any LTR heading that I sold a parcel of LTR on Monday when out of the blue, the price went up, passed $1.
No complaint, make a tidy sum but still holding a parcel.
All opinions in the last couple of pages seem logic. We don't know what is in her mind but could only made guesses.

I think it's a train wreck, you only have to look as far as other lithium producers going into the care of maintenance and reducing production. They should be looking at postponing the start-up date to conserve capital because of the spod prices. The fiance being pulled just adds another level of danger, if they go to another capital raise it will tank the SP even further.

I'm not sure how up to date this list is, but something to consider.Maybe another way of looking at that is that she wanted it and had to pay that much for 20% of it to block the OS takeover and now she can decide how much she would like to pay for the remaining 80%.

My most sincere apology to all in this Thread. Things were abit quiet on the LTR front, up until now that is.
So then, LTR has entered into a $550m debt facility agreement to fund its Kathleen Valley lithium project through first production.
It has been revealed today (13/03/24) the debt facility, with a syndicate of international and domestic commercial banks and government credit agencies, is designed to ensure Kathleen Valley is funded through first production and ramp up to a 3 million tonne per annum base case.
"The debt facility provides financial certainty and sufficient time for Liontown to complete the previously announced review of Kathleen Valley’s 4Mtpa expansion, including opex and capital requirements," it says.
"In parallel, the company is continuing to explore options for a longer-term funding solution to provide future flexibility and optionality beyond the 3Mtpa base case. It is possible that a longer-term funding solution could be implemented prior to any drawdown of the debt facility."
Liontown says Kathleen Valley remains on schedule and budget to commence first production in the middle of 2024.
