Lib/Nats: Stop the rot, Abbott must go!

Complacency... what complacency??? Abbott came so close to winning. Labor had a large seat majority it seemed an impossible taks. Labor took a massive hit in this election.

I don't think anyone could say either side was complacent during this election.

I think you are meowing up the wrong tree with this complacency idea, Timmy.

Not wallowing at all Timmy ....... merely basking in the afterglow of a very well fought out election from both sides. 6 months ago Labor was a shoe in with the most POPULAR PM ever in the history of the universe !

LIBS came within a whisker of delivering the first ever 1 term woman PM on a platter to the great unwashed masses. How many knives do you reckon would come out of the cupboard if they had LOST the UNLOSEABLE election?

Now look at them. Bending over and touching their toes with Independents pounding at their back door ! LMAO.

Now this is inflammatory !

My view is the complacency has set in after August 21.
Acceptance of defeat, excuses, 'good election to lose' etc.....

I think you are meowing up the wrong tree with this complacency idea, Timmy.

Love it!

I have always maintained that Abbott wasn't up to the job. This is his latest stupidity.

He said on Tuesday while he was disappointed with Windsor and Oakeshott's decision to give Julia Gillard a 76-74 majority, he believed they "were acting in good faith"

A point mostly missed but Abbott chose the small target election strategy to the extent that he would'nt answer questions at door stop announcements. Why his minders (faceless liberals) would'nt allow it in case he screwed up lets face it Tony has form.

Actually I thought it was 9 in Queensland and 3 in NSW WTF 3 in NSW Abbotts home state how bad has state Labor to be before it translates into federal votes unbelievable.

Home states normally give generously what happen?

Elsewhere, Abbott picked up one seat in WA, and picked up one seat in the NT. Great.

WA seats were knife edge not a given a mining state!

And I haven't even mentioned the losses in the senate. Abbott lost more seats in the Senate than any other party!

Not only loss seats but loss them to the greens......

How long before the Nats look at WA and say screw the coalition?

The Nats are a dying party with the Liberals spending mega $ contesting safe conservative seats.

Fact is if the Liberals had spent more on marginals they would have won...... ironic

I can see plenty of issues ahead with Tony Crook (WA Nat) sitting on the cross benches

I thought that was rather gracious of him. So what do you think he should have said?
