KCN - Kingsgate Consolidated

An Hour Before the "Sell in May" open
With KCN being a 4odd% away from the $1.5 Cap raising and pouring Gold I would think that a bounce however small would outperform the market in what could be a tough month.

Chatree Gold Mine Delivering Good Ounces
Kingsgate Consolidated Limited (ASX:KCN) (“Kingsgate or the Company”) is pleased to advise that the third shipment of doré bars from the Chatree Gold Mine has been refined and sold, yielding 1,074 ounces of gold, and 9,067 ounces of silver, netting the Company more than $4 million. This is another excellent result, and confirms the earlier estimates that ounces refined will trend upwards as the refining process continues to be fine-tuned.
Plant #2 continues to perform above expectations and is continuing to run above nameplate capacity at an average of 370 dry tonnes throughput per hour, with an average head grade of 0.52 g/t Au, and recoveries remain above 85%.
The gold refining process is now operating on a consistent and pleasing weekly cycle of gold pours, shipments to the refiners, and payments to the company.

No Interest at all from the market.

Ann "Significant Gold Exploration Results continue near the Chatree Gold Mine"

Bought more in the Super Yesterday. Lets hope the uncertainty of the Political process subdues and productivity carrys on.

Nice to see the price slowly creeping back to their $1.5 SPP price.

“More Significant Exploration Results In Gold Zone Near Chatree
Kingsgate Consolidated Limited (ASX:KCN) (“Kingsgate” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce that Akara Resources’ (“Akara”), aggressive near mine exploration program continues to find significant gold intercepts in a North-East to South-East arc, close to the Chatree Gold Mine (“Chatree”).
After reporting significant near mine gold intercepts in April and again on the 1st June, exploration work in these areas to confirm the contiguous nature of these highly prospective near surface gold intervals continues to deliver pleasing results, with the most recent Reverse Circulation (“RC”) drilling returning more significant intercepts in the area around hole: 07668RC (38m@1.01g/t Au from 11 to 49m – See ASX:KCN release titled “Significant Gold Exploration Results continue near the Chatree Gold Mine”, dated 1 June 2023). RC drilling significant intercepts from section 0635N (50m south of hole 7668RC) are as follows:
➢ 07673RC: 19m@2.73g/t Au from 6m to 25m including 1m@25.9g/t Au from 22m to 23m, and 14m@0.40g/t Au from 32m to 46m;
➢ 07681RC: 44m@0.43g/t Au from 18 to 62m including 2m@1.13g/t Au from 23m to 25m, and 1m@6.46g/t Au from 65m to 66m; and
➢ 07683RC: 48m@0.38g/t Au from 37 to 85m.
Drilling results indicated that the mineralization zone(s) are generally low to medium grade gold, with some exciting localized narrow high-grade zones up to 25.9g/t Au. The mineralization zone(s) are characterized by strongly phyllic altered and silicified rhyolitic tuff, polymictic rhyolitic breccia with some small percentage quartz veins, and pyrite dissemination. The potential prospectivity of this area is further supported by a prominent post mineralized feldspar porphyritic dyke that cuts through the ore zone. So far, the gentle east dipping mineralization zone is at least 200m long, and still open in all directions.”

Will be an interesting finding, this Arbitral award!

Interestingly not even a find of high grade Gold can kick life into this thing atm.

High Grade Gold Intercepts from Grade Control Drilling at Chatree
Kingsgate Consolidated Limited (ASX:KCN) (“Kingsgate” or “the Company”) is pleased to announce high grade gold intercepts from grade control (“GC”) drilling at the northern end of A West Pit, at the Chatree Gold Mine (“Chatree”).
Grade control drilling returned significant economic grade mineralisation in five out of the six holes drilled to 20m depth (see Figure 1). This mineralisation remains open to the north and at depth.
Significant intersections include:
• TGC85374: 4.5m at 16.96g/t Au including 1.5m at 44.70 g/t Au; and
• TGC85371: 9.0m at 4.12g/t Au including 3.0m at 11.45g/t Au
This high-grade mineralisation is in two zones 20m apart, extending from the pit surface to the full depth of drilling (20m). Figure 2 shows the general location of the recent GC drilling, and Figure 3 shows proposed follow-up GC drilling. Figure 4 shows the current high-grade results from GC drilling and previous GC ore zones. The GC drilling currently underway is expected to provide additional quick access to high grade ore.

Apparently the government continues to prevaricate over putting words into practice.
To paraphrase from the announcement that you posted, "items agreed upon are yet to be completed" (by the Thai authorities). So the government continues to be unfair, unreasonable and to play games. Why would you invest money here? It's only for high risk speculators who accept complete unpredictability from the Thais.

Not Held

Getting some good local press.

Just finished their Online presentation.
Clearing low grade stock then on to the higher grades.

Just a quick update.

Very nice consistent Trading range.
Possible the next trough will follow the general upturn of the POG.

Important update.

Green Light for Plant #1 at the Chatree Gold Mine
Kingsgate Consolidated Limited ASX:KCN (“Kingsgate” or the “Company”) is pleased to advise that Plant #1 at the Chatree Gold Mine has now been permitted to operate.
Following a successful inspection by the Department of Primary Industries and Mines, the operating permit for Plant #1 was granted. Full commissioning of Plant #1 will commence immediately, followed by a ramp up to full operations.

Look..... There is a little bit of sell after the fact with these guys.
Sure the POG has fallen a little.
But...... Plant 1 and 2 are in operation and on target of exceeding expectations. Debt refinancing going well. View to return to profitability.
Barring any nasty surprises .......
