June 2021 Stock Competition Entries!

Less than 2 weeks to go , and it looks like Team ASF hasn't got the runs on the board. Only 20% if entries are in positive territory and this is when the ASX has been hitting historic highs !!

End of the 3rd Week in the June Monthly Tipping Competition and the visual journey of all entries so far this month are below.

@access (EXR up 17.02%) has taken 1st Place once again from @frugal.rock (THR up 12.50%) in 2nd Place after a pull back this week.
@Springs (VEN up 11.48%) sits in 3rd Place just in front of @Go Figure (SEN up 10.87) for 4th spot who had the best return this week out of all of us up 8.51%.

As @Dona Ferentes pointed out above it's a poor month for Team ASF with only 7 positive tips, 27 negative tips and 1 break-even tip. ?

A lot of movement up and down during the week in most stocks but sadly, mostly down.

Yes, overall ASX as an index has gone up to all time high's but it's mostly driven up by the Big4.

By Big4, we are not talking about Holiday Parks, here's the biggest culprit:

Yes, overall ASX as an index has gone up to all time high's but it's mostly driven up by the Big4.

Too true. For the purposes of winning this competition, it is unlikely that CBA, or anything in the ASX 200, would double in a calendar month, whereas we'd hope in minnow land - gold, mining, biotech, cyber, etc - something might go ballistic. But not this month!!

I hadn't realised the PME metals had tanked so much. thanks for posting.

I do not wish to be presumptuous but my little dog ABV has moved from 30th to 15th place since the comp started.

I have no idea what it now does, I hope only that it be the ASF comp's littlest loser.

The end of the financial year must be here, all financials accounts have to be in order yesterday. A busy time but I suppose everyone's in the same boat.

The leaders have come back even more this week making it a tight competition for this month. Anyone can still win except for maybe, a few right down the bottom of the ladder.

@Springs (VEN up 11.48%) has climbed up ladder again to claim 1st Place today, just in front of @access (EXR up 10.64%) now sitting in 2nd Place.
@Miner (GMD up 8.96%) is hanging on for dear life in 3rd Place .
@basilio, @Go Figure, @UMike, @noirua and others are just behind ready to pounce on the leaders next week ?going to be interesting.

I noticed in March 2020 @bigdog had a 8% winner with a $15.42 stock A2M. Another low % winner was @peter2 in Dec 2018 with AB1 up 7%. Looking at my figures this year I'd settle for that % each month .

A couple of good movers this week was @basilio up 20.83% and @Muchado up 18.37%, lifting them up many places on the ladder.

Even more unusual .... exceptional, actually .... could have won the competition by picking a LIC, market cap $4B.

Milton MLT from $4.95 to $6.09 as SOL announced the intention to acquire it.

At being the end of the FY, there could be some surprises on ranking until 30 June for sure.
