The change in dynamics within the world will be most interesting With the passing of Elizabeth Regina.
Of more significance will be the reactions to the ascent of Charles Rex.
I expect it will hasten the republic movement in Oz and a few other countries.
it may also cause movements to the dissolution of the monarchy in the UK.
I doubt that Chucky will have the ability to remain above politics his mother had.
will be interesting.

Yes we can look forward to President Peter and the order of the red bandana. :roflmao:

Angela Lansbury. Well known American actress of British descent and relative of a former Australian Prime Minister.

Warning, the following article contains the image of a white person who has died.

Likely not well known except to those interested in motor sport but Ken Block, American professional rally driver, died in a snowmobile accident on Monday. It apparently flipped and landed on top of him.

Senator jim Molan, former army general died suddenly overnight.
from News.com.au
Liberal senator and former major-general, Jim Molan, has died following a battle with cancer.
The 72-year-old was elected as a federal senator for NSW in 2019, following two years serving within the state.

A statement from his family said: “it is with profound sadness we announce Jim died peacefully on January 16 in the arms of his family,” they said.

They said he had suffered a “sudden and rapid” decline after Christmas before dying peacefully on Monday, surrounded by his family.

“He was many things - a soldier, a pilot, an author, a volunteer firefighter, and a senator,” they said.

Not overly important, but well known by the older generation.
Italian actress Gina Lollobrigida, one of the biggest stars of European cinema in the 1950s and '60s, has died at the age of 95.
Often described as "the most beautiful woman in the world", her films included Beat the Devil, the Hunchback of Notre Dame and Crossed Swords.
She co-starred alongside the likes of Humphrey Bogart, Frank Sinatra, Rock Hudson and Errol Flynn.
Her career faded in the 1960s and she moved into photography and politics.

Renee Geyer today at the age of 69.

Very sad, there wasn't many young blokes in the 70's that didn't have a crush on her.
Apparently she had inoperable lung cancer also.
One of Australia's great singers RIP.

FromWahington Post
David Crosby, an influential singer-songwriter and a founding member of the Byrds and Crosby, Stills & Nash, has died. He was 81.

His wife, Jan Dance, broke the news with “great sadness,” saying the acclaimed musician passed after suffering from an illness for a “long” time, according to Variety.

“It is with great sadness after a long illness, that our beloved David (Croz) Crosby has passed away,” she said in the statement. “He was lovingly surrounded by his wife and soulmate Jan and son Django.”
I was a big fan of the yardbirds as a youngster, and even bigger fan of CSNY as I was a bit older.
Great talent.

Edited. That means two members of the Yardbirds, Jeff Beck and now Crosby died recently.
