A lot of people here perceive YOU as the most arrogant, rude, childish know-it-all loudmouth on the forum. So where the HELL do you get off pointing the finger at me, you self-absorbed, ignorant self-proclaimed guru......

I certaintly make no apologies for being on the case of so called "Financial Advisors" particularly when they hold no more than a proper authority making them simply a sales mouthpiece for the companies holding the licience.

I dont mind contributions by anyone provided they are contributions and not empty teasers.

I also make no apologies for the position I am in, and if in context to the points in discussion I will use life experience and those results achieved as part of the illustration.

I personally believe there are few in the position I'm in AND willing to spend free time helping those not in that position.

The only reason I post here and Reef is the desire to achieve that.

I'm not looking for recognition or pats on the back.

But when the above is posted, I certaintly want to know if this view is one held by the majority.

I dont have to do this and I dont/won't suffer fools, I havent the time.

This isnt a popularity contest and I have ruffled my share of feathers---but if my time and effort is seen by the majority of members here in the same vein as that posted by Tree----then we are done.

I'm not interested in the whole world only those who are involved here.

If they have been banned I'm not interested in their veiw.
I'm aware of around 7 who join you and Tree of 2000 members.
I'd say thats par for the course.

Still I'm interested,I certainly have no intention of adding to my time here and posts if the concensus is that of your and Tree's.

Tree if the opinion is as yours is then I'm done here cant be buggered.

Just my opinion but I think a poll is a little extreme and I'm not voting in it.
I won't be voting next year if you have a referendum, either.
Most people here who have done reasonably well in their life will have a decent ego, me included. It would be hard to be "successful" (I dispise that word being interperated as wealth) without a big ego.
If you have the time, post. If you don't, don't. Doesn't get harder than that.
You know some people have thought your posts worthwhile because I have seen you acknowlege when they thank you for it. What more do you want?

You'll be bagged as this is a forum and a reletively anon one.
1. You can choose to read someone's post or not.
2. If you read the post you can choose to reply to it or not.
3. If you reply wanting to help, do so knowing in yourself that you are truly doing it for noble reasons.
4. If not don't visit here. Life is too short to waste time on anything not for a greater good.

Only you can answer that, not a poll

At least the offensive post should have been removed and the person making the person making the comments at least warned that offensive behaviour is not allowed. I guess another forum gets wiped off the list for allowing this behaviour.

For what it's worth I'll add my worth.

From where I'm sitting both tech/a and money tree are making total fools out of themselves by the way they carry on in here.

In my experience, those who personally attack others in forums like this when they disagree with each other's view are simply taking the coward's way out, from a behind a supposedly annonymous nic, of releasing their frustrations due to unsuccesful investments/trades or whatever else might be going on their lives. I haven't seen any verifiable information in any posts from either of you two that proves my perception of you both as wrong.

If someone was truly successful in life, investing, trading or whatever why on earth would they spend so much time in a forum like this personally attacking other posters. If you want to establish any credibility, of which you both have next to zero from what I've seen in your posts, why not try to be constructive when you disagree with each other instead of carrying on like a pair of screaming, crying pre-schoolers.

I'm not going to waste anymore time on tech/a's childish popularity contest poll and certainly won't be voting. There are a lot more important things going on this world atm to be concerned about rather than the petty, childish, dribbling, ramblings of two supposed adults.

I'm not going to take sides in this childish game and I'll leave you two kids to carry on.

Good luck in your endeavours and I hope you both sort out and fix what ever has happened in your lives in the past to lead you to behave in here like you do.

Bottom line: Grow up to both of you and show some maturity and credibility if you want to be taken seriously.

This fairly difficult time for Tech and I would like to ask you not to throw in the towel.

I wish we just post our opinions and not our personalities and above all we don’t dig in and put things on the knives edge, when things can only go one way or the other.

Tech, being successful after brush with insolvency for some reason brings a lot of resentment from some members.

Silly really, instead to sucking up every bit of important information you have to offer, some spit on you with venom instead.

I suppose this is Australian phenomenon of toll poppy cutting irrespective of anything.

Tech if you survive this bout of bad feelings I’ll be extra happy if not I’ve got your E-mail so can be in touch.

Gentlemen,

Your overall contribution to these forums is valuable and can be summerised much like our portfolios. You are both capable of providing great returns with valuable information, clarification on issues/information and food for thought when is comes to investing.

However sometimes these great returns erode a little when then personal challenges, comments and negative attitudes are present in your posts and these are affecting your image (equity) curve in which we all hold you.

You both feel that you are successful and have a lot to offer us here on ASF. Why who not do it in a healthy competitive way? See who can build the smoothest “image” (equity) curve out of the two of you.

The forum will benefit from the valuable information that you provide as well as maintaining the mature and professional feel of the forums.

We as members will benefit with an ever increasing amount of valuable information available to us to learn, discuss and develop ourselves from.

And the biggest winners will be you, as success breeds success. Those who have learnt from you will beat a path to your door whether to buy your products to learn more or sing the praise that is deserved.

Or alternatively my other suggestion is that Joe start a new forum called the challenge forum which will simply contain a tread consisting of a picture of a Money Tree next to a retaining wall. No personal attacks or negative comments allowed. When one party feels anger or frustration towards another they simply donate 5 dollars to ASF and A little animated Joe the kicks a section of the wall down or chops a bit of the tree down depending on which party has donated :hammer: . The wall and tree will repair itself over time providing there are sufficient breaks between the attacks with the ultimate goal to see who can keep their respective image “attack free”. (At least I think outside the square )

In all seriousness gentlemen we appreciate your posts and would like to see them still coming minus the personal comments
