No but my girlfriend and I spent a week in Southern England trying to find one to accomplish this goal.

Yes ..... 21 April 1989 ..... in Cyclone Orson 280 km/h,
barometer dropped below 900 ..... !~!

Crew evacuated into Dampier on the Pilbara coast for a week,
meanwhile vessel loses 7 anchors and breaks the 8th anchor
cable (64 mm diameter) and floats free ..... found a week
later, 25kms from where it was anchored.

..... truly awesome windpower !~!

No, but I have worked in television. I worked as a researcher on the Olivia Newton John TV show of the mid 90's called "Wild Life".

Several, but the most memorable one was in Somerset England. On a hike through the countryside we stumbled upon the ruins of a small church in the middle of nowhere. This was obviously a peasants church as there was no fancy architecture or crypts of notable people or anything etc. There were however various inscriptions (obviously done by village stonemasons rather than fine artisans) dating back to the 13th century.

It was very quiet, lonely, eery. You could almost feel the presence of all the folks that went there all those years ago.

To your last 2!!! Petrol - yes, often - and they have proved on the current affairs shows that some stations set the bowsers prrposely wrong.

The car wreck - no, but my 2 youngest sons were nearly killed in June 2000 and the car made everyone wonder how anyone got out alive. It was horrific. They were in the back seat and came off worst with massive head injuries - thus - every time I see an accident or hear an ambulance, particularly at the same time of the early evening, it has a terrible effect on me. They are now, miraculously, living a half normal life.
I hate with a passion the adverts (Qld gov) that say 'enough is enough' - because the youngsters that NEED to heed the warnings don't take any notice, and I really believe the only people that see them are the ones who hurt from watching, because they have lost someone or 'had a close encounter'.
The road deaths are one of the things I just don't know how the governments can do anything about with TV ads - and it's very painful and frustrating.

Wow, sorry - I'm sure you didn't expect that reaction when you asked 'have you ever'!!
