Munich: The teenager who shot and killed nine people in the Munich massacre used Facebook to lure his victims to a McDonald's, police said on Saturday.

Ali David Sonboly, 18, launched his killing spree in the Bavarian city in an apparent revenge attack for being bullied. It is now thought he targeted youngsters of "Turkish and Arab" origin, having claimed those groups had picked on him in school.

Not happy. Relieved.

Aren't we all relieved? There are calls for liquidation and some kind of solution already right?

If it's a Arab who frequent a Mosque... wooo man... there are solutions for that kind of terror. But since it's some crazy mental case, what can we do - that's life, there are psychos around and it's not like the gov't can wage war or fund mental health crisis; or fund education and job programs so that family aren't broken and kids aren't depressed and isolated without hope... Islam and Muslims - there's a solution for that; domestic crises... what can ya do.

German intelligence warns of IS ‘hit squads’ among refugees​


German intelligence services have evidence that “hit squads” from the Islamic State terror group have infiltrated the country disguised as refugees, the deputy head of Bavaria’s spy agency told the BBC Thursday.

“We have to accept that we have hit squads and sleeper cells in Germany,” Manfred Hauser, the vice president of the Bavaria region’s intelligence gathering agency, BayLfV, told the Today program.

“We have substantial reports that among the refugees there are hit squads. There are hundreds of these reports, some from refugees themselves. We are still following up on these, and we haven’t investigated all of them fully,” said Hauser.

German Interior Minister Thomas de Maizière will present a set of new security measures in Berlin on Thursday, following recent attacks in the country inspired by IS.

New Sharia Police Patrol Forming In Hamburg​

Islamic State and “Sharia Police” stickers have been seen on vehicles in Hamburg, and some fear that extremists may try and harass residents. However, police and security services have denied these reports.
At least one witness has came forward claiming that she has seen Islamic State logos and sharia police slogans on a car in Hamburg. According to the woman, she saw a car at a traffic light populated by three women wearing the Islamic full-face veil, the hood of the car was described as having a large logo on it with a blue border which read: “Sharia Police”.

Now some fear that the so-called sharia patrols that harassed the residents of Wuppertal in 2014 could be returning to German streets, reports Die Welt.

The woman, who preferred to remain anonymous, told the paper that she clearly saw the words “Sharia Police” on the vehicle. The original sharia police were formed in 2014 by radical preacher and Islamic convert Sven Lau. Lau formed the group in order to tackle what he deemed unIslamic or “haram” behaviour in Wuppertal. The group wore high-visibility jackets with the words “Sharia Police” on the back.

The patrols harassed locals in the area who were drinking, gambling, or engaging in any other activity considered socially acceptable in the West which would otherwise be considered haram in Muslim countries. The group also put up stickers – much like their British “Sharia Patrol” counterparts – indicating areas that were “sharia controlled zones” and subject to the Islamic holy law, rather than German secular laws. Alcohol, gambling, music, pornography, prostitution, and drugs were all said to be banned in the area by the group.

Petruna. Tedd Petruna is a diver at the NBL (Neutral Buoyancy Lab)
facility at NASA Houston .. Tedd happened to be on the AirTran
Flight 297, from Atlanta to Houston . Here's his report :



One week ago, I went to Ohio on business and to see my
father. On Tuesday, the 17th, I returned home. If you
read

the papers the 18th you may have seen a blurb about
where an Air Tran flight was canceled from Atlanta to Houston due to a man
who refused to get off of his cell phone before take-off.. The story was
only on Fox News. That was NOT what really happened.



I was seated in 1st class coming home. Eleven Muslim
men got on the plane in full Muslim attire. Two of them sat in 1st class
and the rest seated themselves throughout the plane, in coach class, all
the way to the back. As the plane taxied out to the runway, the
stewardesses gave the safety spiel that we are all so familiar
with.



At that time, one of the men in 1st class, got on his
cell and called one of his companions back in coach. He proceeded to talk
on the phone in Arabic very loudly and very, very aggressively. This
activity took the 1st stewardess out of action for she repeatedly told the
man that cell phones were not permitted at that time. He ignored her as if
she were not there. The man, who answered the phone back in the coach
section, did the same and this took out the 2nd stewardess. Further back
in the plane, at the same time, two younger Muslims, one in the back on
the aisle, and one sitting in front of him by the window, began to show
footage of a porno video they had taped the night before. They were very
loud about it.



The 3rd stewardess informed the two men that they were
not to have any electronic devices on at this time. One of the men said
"shut up infidel dog!"



The stewardess attempted to take the camcorder and the
Muslim began to scream in her face in Arabic. At that exact moment, all
eleven of the men got up and started to walk throughout the cabin. I guess
that because of the noise, the flight crew must have decided that there
was something amiss and changed the plane's directions to head back to the
terminal.

The commotion and noise was
reaching a feverish pitch, and at this point I had had enough! I got up
and started towards the back of 1st class when I heard a voice behind me
from another Texan twice my size, say, "I got your back." Then I grabbed
the man, who had been on the cell phone, by the arm and said, "You WILL
sit down in your seat or you WILL be thrown from this plane!" As I "led"
him around me to take his seat, the fellow Texan grabbed him by the back
of his neck and his waist and headed him back to his seat. I then grabbed
the 2nd man and said, "You WILL do the same!"



He protested loudly, but my adrenaline was flowing now
and he was going to go also. Just as I escorted him forward, the plane
stopped, the doors opened and three TSA agents and four police officers
entered the cabin. Myself and my new Texas friend were told to cease and
desist for they had the situation under control.



I was quite happy to oblige, actually. There was still
some sort of commotion in the back, but within moments, all eleven Muslim
men were escorted off the plane. The TSA agents then had their luggage
unloaded. We talked about the occurrence and were in disbelief that it had
happened.



Then suddenly, the door opened again and in walked all
eleven Muslim men! Stone faced, eyes front and robotic, (the only way I
can describe it) and they were reseated. The stewardess from the back had
been in tears and when she saw the men, she was having NONE of it! Since I
was up front, I heard and saw the whole ordeal. She told the TSA agents
that there was NO WAY she was staying on the plane with the Muslim men.
The agent told her that they had searched the men and were going through
their luggage with a fine tooth comb. However, nothing had been found and
that the men were allowed to proceed on to Houston.



The captain and co-captain came out of the cockpit and
told the agent, "We and our crew will not fly this plane!" After a word or
two, the entire crew, luggage in tow, left the plane. Five minutes later,
the cabin door opened again and a whole new crew walked on. Again, this
was where I had had enough! I got up and asked the TSA agent,†What the
hell is
going on?



I was told to take my seat. The airlines and TSA were
sorry for the delay and we would be home shortly. I said, "I'm getting off
this plane". The stewardess sternly told me that she could not allow me to
get off. Now I'm really mad! I said, "I am a grown man who bought this
ticket, whose time is mine, with a family at home, and I am going through
that door, or I'm going through that door with you under my arm, but I AM
going through that door!"



And then I heard a voice behind me say, "So am I!"
Then everyone behind us started to get up and say the same thing. Within
two minutes, I was walking off that plane where I was met by more TSA
agents, who asked me to write a statement about the incident. I had five
hours to kill at this point waiting for the next flight to Houston , so
why the hell not give them my statement. Due to the amount of people who
got off that flight, it was canceled. I was supposed to be in Houston at 6
PM, but I finally got there at 12:30 AM. If you don't believe this, look
up the date and then Flight 297 from Atlanta to Houston.



If this wasn't a terrorism dry run, I don't know what
is. The terrorists wanted to see how TSA would handle it, how the crew
would handle it, and how the passengers would handle it. I'm telling this
to you because I want you to know. The threat IS real. I saw it with
my own eyes."

Barcelona and Cambrils attacks: Police name suspected van driver after five terrorists shot dead - latest news​


Five terrorists wearing fake suicide belts have been shot dead by police after ramming civilians with a car in a Spanish seaside town in a second vehicle attack, as police named a man being hunted as the suspected Barcelona van driver.

Seven people, including a police officer, were injured in Cambrils - hours after a rampaging van driver left 13 people dead and more than 100 wounded around 70 miles away in Barcelona.

Police have named the suspected Barcelona van driver they are hunting as 18-year-old Moussa Oukabir. He is the brother of Driss Oukabir, a 28-year-old Moroccan who is alleged to have rented the vehicle.

Investigators revealed that a 12-strong terror cell thought to have been behind the two Spanish attacks is believed to have been planning an atrocity with gas canisters.

The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant has claimed responsibility for the attack, the deadliest on Spanish soil since more than 190 people died in the Madrid train bombs in 2004. Stay with us for the latest updates.


 
Amsterdam stabbing suspect who injured two Americans had 'terrorist' motive, officials say
​

An Afghan man shot by police at Amsterdam's central station on Friday after stabbing two American tourists had a "terrorist" motive, city officials say.

The suspect, who was identified as a 19-year-old Afghan with a German residence permit, was questioned on Saturday in hospital where he was being treated for gunshot wounds to his lower body.

German police searched the man's house at the request of their Dutch colleagues and seized several data carriers, the authorities said.

The suspect, who is being held in solitary confinement, will be brought before a judge on Monday to decide whether he should remain in custody.

The two people injured in the incident were American citizens, the US ambassador to the Netherlands said in a statement on Saturday.

Ambassador Pete Hoekstra said the pair were tourists visiting the city.

They remained in hospital with serious injuries, local police said.

Earlier this week, Dutch police arrested a 26-year-old man suspected of threatening to attack far-right politician Geert Wilders over his plan to hold a contest of cartoons depicting Islam's Prophet Mohammad.

Wilders cancelled the contest citing security risks, as thousands of people in Pakistan marched in protest of his plan, while the Taliban in Afghanistan called for attacks on Dutch troops serving in the country.

The National Coordinator for Counter-terrorism and Security Policy said the national threat level in the Netherlands was unchanged at "substantial", or one notch below the highest.

Since attacks by Islamist radicals in France, Belgium, Britain and Germany, the Netherlands has been considered a target, because it supports US-led military operations against Islamic State in the Middle East.

 
Paris knife attack: Seven injured, four seriously

Seven people have been injured, four seriously, in an attack by a man wielding a knife and an iron bar in the French capital, Paris, police say.

The attack took place just before 23:00 (21:00 GMT) on the banks of a canal in Paris's 19th district.

People playing a game of pétanque nearby threw balls at the attacker to try to stop him.

The man, said to be Afghan, was later arrested. The incident is currently not being treated as a terrorist attack.

The man initially stabbed two men and a woman near the MK2 cinema on the quai de Loire, along the Ourcq canal, reports say.

Eyewitness Youssef Najah, 28, said he was walking beside the canal when he saw a man running and holding a knife about 25-30cm (10-11 inches) long.

"There were around 20 people chasing him. They started throwing pétanque balls at him," he said.

German police arrest 10 people on suspicion of planning Islamist attack​


Police in Germany have arrested 10 people on suspicion of planning an Islamist attack.​

The arrests were made after some 200 police officers carried out raids in the states of Hesse and Rhineland-Palatinate.​

The men had plotted to "kill as many 'non-believers' as possible" using a vehicle and guns, prosecutors said.​

A 21-year-old man from Offenbach, near Frankfurt, and two 31-year-old brothers from Wiesbaden are the main suspects.​

"They had already made contact with different arms dealers, rented a large vehicle and collected financial assets to use for the purchase of guns and the execution of the planned murders," a spokeswoman for the prosecutor's office said.​
