Remember credit cards were around by then though as a kid I didn't have one. That machine that made carbon copies.
I do but never owned one.
Come to think of it I've never had kindle, subscriptions to Netflix or other things which are available. None of them interest me in the slightest.

77 years ago , something happened in Roswell New Mexico.
During pour most recent US tour, we spent a day in Roswell.
They milk the Alien thing for all its worth.
The museum was interesting though, especially the first hand witness accounts.
