Happy Anniversary

I bought one of these Tandy TRS80 computers in 1980, when they first came out for $1500, it had 16kb of extended memory, thankfully I found an engineer that agreed that it was the future and bought it off me. ?
Missed a big loss on that one.
I wonder what value it might have as a collector's item these days, SP?
 
So who remembers the Palm Pilot?
Another one of those pieces of Technology that was going to change the way we work.

120 years ago Orville and Wilbur Wright undertook the first powered flight at Kity hawk field in South Carolina.
And look where have come since them.

it would have taken real guts to fly that contraption, not knowing if it would actually become airborne and worse still come plummeting to the ground.
In that 120 years gone from paper and wood to Mars and beyond.

Not too much of importance happened today, BUT tomorrow 8/3/24 is of great importance to me.
 
On this day in 2008, a mere 16 years ago, Tesla started regular production of its first car, the tesla Roadster.
