all right here is my guess.

I'm going to say Shanghai even though I can't see the Pearl tower in the skyline.

Price? I reckon AUD$200k?

cheers

Yep, I second Shanghai. Looks like the new Tomson Riverside complex. Prime location in the financial district and beside the river.

600m2 is damn big. And a penthouse too. I reckon about $AU 4 million.

BTW if this is the Tomson, it is the most expensive new complex in Shanghai and they are having some trouble selling them.

Spot on!

but the asking price is............RMB86300000 which is roughly AU$14million! and they've already sold one to some mysterious buyer...

cheers

well you need to show them a term deposit of AU$500k and financial statement to have an inspection. Time wasters won't be welcomed. so i don't have the answers for you.

talk me out of the sale? you must be kidding. the point of my post is that i think there's a big property bubble there...i'm one of those few that don't believe the China story

Sorry Hissho for my late reply I'm only a humble superman-I've been vacuuming my house for 2 hours!!!!!! no servants here!....so you think the apartment sold is in a concrete bubble?
On a serious note ! I would be interested to know why only 1 pidgeon hole has been sold ,it seems like this Chinese bird's nest,is the only one in the coop(schpelling). Nothing wrong with living in Oz ,why would some snob buy in Shangri'LA .....spitting should be prohibited in those photos!
Time to vacuum the garden now!

Hissho,

I agree, Shanghai does have a major property bubble and it will probably end badly. Still, there is so much other activity going on in China and I wouldn't dismiss the China story just because of this.

Bear facts? I'm interested!! :D

Seriously, I too, have been hearing a few bits and pieces with regards to China that don't look good for the Oz resources industry. I have a friend who has just arrived in Shanghai, so expecting some reports from "on the ground" so to speak.

I will report his thoughts as they come through.
