GPT, (REITs sector) is currently going through, what I consider to be a brief consolidation period.

Interestingly, Market Index t’night have highlighted how well this sector is performing,,, Quote -> The Real EstateInvestment Trusts (XPJ) sector is on a tear.

This stock although a slower, grinding type is worth consideration in the current market. I bought this a month ago which has produced a positive result up over 8% to date with more oomph hopefully to come. Trending well … as are plenty of stocks within this sector.

3 month chart below with a few TA indicators ->

Does seem to be a sector trend, although how long lived I wouldn't have a clue. I haven't tried to follow Phil Anderson's land price cycles ideas. He reminds me of the kid who went around scrounging cans and bottles at the inter-school sports event - very tight arsed with what he says unless you pay him. Not in GPT and only recently ventured into the sector after an article by Greg Canavan. But I suppose it's about anticipation of rates topping out? Of the ones with which I'm familiar, ABG and ASK have had 5 consecutive up weeks and CHC had 4 consecutive weeks of high positive volume (chart). Property developer Cedar Woods (CWP) has also been outperforming.

Yes, Phil Anderson charges through the roof for his services, very tight-lipped unless you subscribe.
This sector has a while to play out, how long? …. the charts will do the talking.
