@wanyeL I have worked for quite a few of these people over the years.Well this is a poisoned chalice, Bas. It's a topic that hardly anyone wants to go anywhere near and give their true opinion. It has become an important cultural and political topic, so here's my opinion for what it's worth.
1/ I don't care nor am I interested in other people if their lives or what I do with their bodies if it doesn't really affect anyone else. Live your best life and do what makes you happy. I can't say that I understand it, but it wouldn't bother me to associate with a trans person if I liked their character.
2/ Here's where I have a problem; the excessive promotion and political power mongering of transexualism to the mainstream community, *especially* to children and will expand in that as we go along.
Definitely not again and again on that.Yes.
And it's the anti-puberty drugs for minors is when I say absolutely nyet!
.
I do get sick and tired of having this 3rd gender suppossedly being the norm these days.
Ah gg if you possess the dangly bits then you are a bloke and if not surely you are a female !!!!I don't understand these transgender people wanting to be women.
As for this pronoun kerfuffle, what a joke. It will never catch on. Not in a million years.
It seems to be the purvey of rich, mostly Americans and the Global North. I don't see many Rohingya or Palestinian men yahooing and wanting to be women. It is usuaIly people from Los Angeles or Sydney, sorry Gadigal Country, what is doing it. I don't see why they can't continue as they were, just dressing up, singing in pubs, having a laugh and leaving women's business to women.
As for these jokers using women's toilets, that is intrusive for women and quite dangerous for the transgender persons themselves. Many men of my acquaintance would beat the living daylights out of a man if they caught them using a women's loo. It is very dangerous indeed, and it also makes the queues longer at the footy for the ladies.
Gender as a term has been castrated of its real meaning. I do not in fact understand any of this wish to change sex or gender or whatever it is.

Genuine intersex is extremely rare and a biological aberration. Yes it does happen.'Re gender binary and obstetrics... I think any scientifically honest obstetrician would agree that any human with a fanny and a womb (and capable of childbirth) is actually female.
Would you not agree with that?'
@waynle
Well simply put, no i don't agree sexulaty is binary, nor does the observation.
And you best not 'think' what a scientifically honest obstetrician might agree with ... you should ask one or two.
At your leasure (with so much work to do)... Ask any obstetrician one of the most difficult things they'll ever have to say to a new parent; when asked; 'is it's a boy or a girl? ...and they have to say 'I/we don't know...'
It's only difficult because of attitudes the likes of yours who see Intersex people not as people and your very limited scope of 'agricultral' procivities; get the bucket the hammer or the .22, unable to assess what humanity is and the forms it takes. As that whining Canadian sage to the incells would tell you 'as God made them....' well 'god' seems to make all-sorts... or does he make mistakes?
do me favor put me on ignore. there's a simple binary.
I don't put myself up as an 'intellectual' anything... And if my roomtemp IQ exposes your codswallop (to all and sundury) maybe you better lift your game.Genuine intersex is extremely rare and a biological aberration. Yes it does happen.
This however has absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with people who are gender confused and suffering from dysphoria (most often at the beehest of postmodernist (non)thinkers such as yourself. This, rather than a genetic/biological aberration is a psychological one and has absolutely zero to do with an obstetrician.
This simple differentiation exposes you as the intellectual fraud you are. Anyone with an IQ above room temperature realises the difference between genuine intersex and gender dysphoria, and at the risk of repeating myself, does not require an obstetrician to discern between the two.
I have no idea what ridiculous qualification you hold, if any, but it is certainly not based in biology or fact.
Additionally that ignore button is as readily available to you as me, so if you are unprepared for the truth please feel free.
Nope, you've just confirmed my point.I don't put myself up as an 'intellectual' anything... And if my roomtemp IQ exposes your codswallop (to all and sundury) maybe you better lift your game.
You statement that sexuality is binary is contrdicted by your statement that sexuality is not binary on the rare aberration ;
aberration |ˌabəˈreɪʃ(ə)n|
noun
a departure from what is normal, usual, or expected, typically an unwelcome one....
I've been in the sewer with plenty of scum... your move.
Certainly, I agree with that. Live how you want to live.Whatever it is, it's their lives to be lived as they wish. We should feel sorry for the fact that they are so confused they don't know if they are Arthur or Martha.
True.But it isn't as simple as that, Horace. The current ideology brings up several concerning issues regarding the rights of women, like privacy in women's change rooms and toilets, women's sport etc - and transitioning minors via puberty blockers and surgery.
@SirRumpole A lot of the journalists of today are that in name only.True.
Yet another example of a small minority trying to change society to suit themselves.
Frankly it's a turn off hearing their whinges all the time, but that's the woke media these days, always trying to generate scandal and dissent.
