Full C/Y 2023 Stock Tipping Competition

Thank you for carrying the FY tipping forward @debtfree, onya.

Only one change from my 2022 tips, COB replaces QAN.

EVN - Gotta have a goldie and 2023 "should" be a good year for the yellow metal.
Creating a Premier global gold company.

AXE - Qubits at room temperature. Awesome tech and closely watched.
Quantum and Human Health Technologies to shape future economies

BRN - AI chips at the sensor and low power too!
Brainchip's Akida is the world’s first commercial neuromorphic processor.

COB - Cobalt
The miracle metal. 'nuff said.

This is just an example of the spreadsheet I'll be running this year for all entries.

Portfolio Boxes look very much like Peter's last year only they will be staying in the same spot all year, they will be in alphabetical order, either down the page or across.
They also show your ranking in the comp next to your name.

To the left is a Leader Board showing where you sit on the ladder.
To the right is the 'How did you go last Month?' section and that will be resorted from best % to least %

Don't forget to get your entries in!

Hope there's a reset button on that. The frugal one, Mr divs and i seem to have taken the losses before the start of the comp. This should put us in good standing for the long haul.

might be a sign i am looking for a reversal in my selections in 2023 , but am not so good at picking those reversals correctly , so be careful using them as suggestions . ( but had a nice old time adding EVN last year while looking unimpressive in the comp. )

am fairly confident @debtfree will adjust the spreadsheet as needed

good luck everyone

After watching Grandkidz wreck the house for the last week, I reckon picking 4 Winners for the Stock comp will be a walk in the park!

Anyway, Chuckie, (good friend of the Grandkidz :nailbiting: ), suggested I should "play" in the comp.

My picks are a mixed bag of recently or currently underperforming stocks:

TUL (GOLD/currently holding)
RLT (Helium/LNG. No longer hold)
ARR (Rare Earths. Don't hold)
BLD (Building Industry. Don't hold)

RLT (Helium/LNG. No longer hold)
ARR (Rare Earths. Don't hold)
BLD (Building Industry. Don't hold)
i keep looking at BLD as an investment i already hold SVW and think EVENTUALLY SVW/Stokes will complete the take-over ( a scrip deal would suit me nicely if i buy into BLD )

The 10 cents limit buggered up a couple of my first picks, so here goes.
1. SFR - Sandfire resources for copper
2.ADT For silver (first pick was MKR, but its under 10).
3. CTM for Zinc
4. PRU for gold
Feeling resourceful.
Mick
the 10,000 share turnover in a week threw a nasty curve my way

good luck everyone

no prize-money for the full yearly comp. this time

it is being organised by some of the members

it is designed to show off your predictive skills ( or in my case the lack of them )

HOWEVER you still need to post in each thread to qualify for the 'bragging rights '

please read the rules carefully there are some changes this time ( including if one of your picks gets taken-over mid comp. )

good luck

CLV - Clover
CAU - Cronos
PXA - Pexa
IRE - Integrated Research

I hold all, all trading at low points in their price cycles as are many many stocks, good luck all.
was almost going to tip CAU ( i hold ) , but they have risen recently so looked elsewhere

i will get some PXA soon courtesy of the LNK divestment ,
CLV ( i hold 'free-carried' ) during the baby formula crisis was the time to buy CLV

please note IRE is Iress Integrated Research ticker code is IRI , you might have to clarify that before the comp starts ( i hold neither of these two )

cheers and good luck

Has CLV traded at least $100,000 in value in the five trading days prior to entry?
CLV - Clover

goodness, that slims down the possible picks , once paired with the 10 cent share price minimum
