I believe the Slippery Seven above should withdraw from the Competition for this month out of Shame.

First is 13% up and 7th is a measly 2.7%.

Give those about to breakthrough with proper percentage gains a chance.

What a month of declines it's been. I reckon two-third to three-quarters of picks are under water. Congrats if you are in the few that still has a nostril above the water line.

Just goes to show how difficult it is to predict the market month to month. Wasn't it only a month ago when us ASF tipsters beat the hell out of the market with our picks in January with hardly anyone ending up in the red... ?‍?

End of the Month in the February Tipping Comp. That's a good month gone! The XSO went down -3.91% while the ASF Team Average went down -8.35%. @acro don't let that happen again .
Not much to report since the weekend except for a couple of flyers today.

@Sean K ASO 27.66% stole the show on the last day to rock rock home in 1st Place. Up over 20% today, well done and a nice pick in a tough month .
@Dona Ferentes BNR 20.00% had a good day today up over 10% to snatch 2nd Place .
Looks like a draw between @Telamelo BC8 6.67% and @brerwallabi CR9 6.67% for 3rd Place .

Looks like @Telamelo is behind for the Year so far . I'll leave the official wrap up for @Joe Blow when he comes along shortly.

Many congratulations to the top three @Sean K , @Dona Ferentes and @Telamelo.

A tremendous race at the finish and how often do down months give the "few", wounds better borne than those of the the rabble under water.

This month resembled the last fully powered hour of that feat of Russian engineering, the Kursk, a sub which preferred the depths to that combination of atoms known as fresh air.

In memory of the Russian cousins lost I propose to lead all of those in the red this month in a concentrated assault on the top spots in the March competition.

Firstly though we must find @arco who is swimming with some deep living creatures such as the frilled shark. @debtfree has been appointed to give him lessons on not being last

Do not forget to put your entries in for the March competition tonight or today depending on where you ASF members are on this beautiful planet Earth.

SeanK finished in first place with an impressive 27.66% return with ASO. In second place was Dona Ferentes who achieved an excellent 20% with BNR. Rounding out the top three for February was Telamelo & brerwallabi who selected BC8 & CR9 respectively, which both returned a solid 6.67%. They will both split the third prize pool.

special mention to the other 4 who finished in the positive ( since third place was i tie )

but gee 33 entries and we couldn't get an even break ( break even )


am slightly disappointed i didn't get a late parcel of my pick , but at least i beat the ASF average this month

actually i was looking for @arco for lessons on how to pick shares i want to buy at a steep discount

i'll take the wooden soon every month if i can buy at a 50% (plus ) discount ( on good-value stocks )
