F111 Fleet About To Be 1 Less

Channel 9 in Brisbane are showing one of our F111's about to crashland at Amberley Airbase.

Keeping fingers crossed.

For those that didn't get to see it, the F111 did a perfect belly landing and crew seem to have escaped unharmed.

Thanks for the update mate, i read the headline on the internet and wondered how they would do.

Thankfully they're ok.

Seems like one of the wheels failed.

But no matter. That plane can be always be refurbished - I'm sure they've done that a number of time already on this aging fleet.
