Good morning
Hoping everybody having a good day :)

EOS announcement- EOS enters into New Financing Facilities & continues development of Strategic Growth Options.

Market likes it 18% gain at the minute.

rcw1 had a history with this stock. Favourable and unfavourable. Got stuck with a parcel of
shares - which owes rcw1 plenty. Thought long and hard … left in the top drawer. See what happens, shoulda offloaded long ago, sentimentality not rcw1 strong suit and yet
tear away stop loss situation ignored. … … Mistake yes not smart.

Anyways, funnily enough well shrewd maybe or silly ?; captured another parcel of EOS at rock bottom price, walking that tight rope, will sell soon today at good profit. Silly number of buyers hanging around… at the moment. rcw1 watching this one ever so closely.

Kindly conduct your own due diligence.

Kind regards
rcw1

The contract, valued at up to US$80m (approximately A$120m), envisages supply during 2023 and 2024.

- from 45c to 68c yesterday, settling in mid 50s today.

Contract is bigger than current market cap (of under $80 mill). That word
Conditional probably holding things back.

It could be that Aussie defence stocks are back to being flavour of the month, or perhaps there are more substantial reasons as yet undisclosed, but EOS has hit a 12-month high over the last few days:
Closed at $1.09,
Volume a slight uptick from being generally quiet, but I wouldn't call it busy ...
... yet.

Discl: I don't hold, though I have at time in the past. Thinking about it

From the ABC:

"On a remote weapons range in far western New South Wales, technicians test-fire a lethal but invisible laser to bring down an unmanned aerial vehicle, or drone, in what's believed to be the first demonstration of its kind on Australian soil.

"Lasers offer a lot of advantages; they're very good at hitting high-speed targets," explains executive vice-president for EOS Defence Systems Matt Jones."

An order of magnitude in play?
.

"Slinger's price tag is less than $1.55 million per system. It aims to take down drones at a cost of between $155 and $1,550 per engagement...."

.

so, who's gonna win this one?
.

Electro Optic Systems Holdings is in Commercial Dispute with its lender, Washington H. Soul Pattinson .

EOS announces today that after close of business on Friday 6 October 2023 it received a demand for payment of a $4.5 million fee within 7 days, from its primary lender WHSP.

EOS is seeking to meet with WHSP to discuss the matter, and believes this represents a commercial dispute with WHSP. EOS is seeking legal advice on the validity of the demandand intends to vigorously defend its position, noting that it has adequate funding to pay this fee if required
.

EOS is one of my selections in the 2024 CY Comp. All my selections are made from a scan and flicking through charts.

I know I might be jumping the gun here as EOS as it has just gone sideways for the last 5 months but it did show some promise from April to July, moving from 0.455 up to a high of 1.29.
Last week I noticed price did tick up again finishing on a 2 month high but on low volume, so the big boys were not jumping on board, at the moment.
At least the moving averages are not dropping down and price is now just above them. So there might be a bit of hope for this one yet.

I think its mostly a fraud, but there is a small part of it which has some value, and I suspect thats what WHSP is interested in getting control of. So it might catch a bid and have a bit of a run, you might get lucky! The risk is it cant refinance the massive debt and gets wound up.

Good to know and good to be aware of things that we miss or don't know @galumay , thanks for looking out for us, much appreciated.
