Got the full version because I needed Outlook.
Looked at all the optios this seemed the best, then I see all the cheaper ones later, mine is licensed for 3 pc's so thats probably why it cost more, I need it for 4 actually but I'll worry about that later.......

You only get what you pay for, have fun with that dodgy open source crap that isn't compatible with anything and wont sync with anything

Only with ipods. Most others play MP3s anyways.

Did you know you can get a program for the ipods so you can play mp3 and don't have to install that annoying iTunes. I done that to my shuffle

But will it sync with the Iphone, the greatest invention since beer ???

I don't know, what's an Iphone?

Seriously though, I only use Office programs to read files sent to me by others. The idea of paying to view those files didn't appeal so OpenOffice was perfect for me. I know Microsoft provide free Word & PowerPoint viewers but, as far as I know, there's no viewer for Excel spreadsheets.

Up and away again now.

Was extremely slow often dropping out with a DNS server error message late this afternoon... but I was able to access ebaymobile ok earlier this evening... and all other sites on my favourites came up straight away.

How would I be able to tell if it was a Bigpond server error?

I've been contemplating quiting Bigpond for some time, a couple of days ago got best quote yet from GoTalk, considerably cheaper... any reliability issues?

I was reading somewhere recently there is ISP competion to offer the most download at better speeds. I'm paying the same amount now as I was with another provider awhile back and getting 3 times the download speed at 20 GB data/month. I cannot use that much. Shop around and there is a better deal out there.

Search. http://broadbandguide.com.au/search

Mate it might be worth checking out your nearest exchange and seeing which ISP will give you the best speeds.

Just enter your address in the "Address Lookup" and it will tell you your nearest exchange and the best ISP
