Think I just paid over the odds for Office 2007 Professional with 3 PC license - $450

I can already see cheaper stuff on there, be happy to hear from anyone who can tell me I did ok or just regale us with your Ebay stories.

I don't like to use Pay Pal for one thing so l aways ask if they'll take EFT.

I just use Openoffice. I use Linux (Ubuntu), Windows (Vista) and OS/X, it works well, has excellent cross platform compatibility and is free.

Yes, I have a legal copy of Office 2007, somewhere...

I have people sending me Excel docs and they wont open in Office 2000, also my IPhone doesnt sync with Office 2000 otherwise I woudn't bother.

I've had problems with Pay Pal, no customer service that speaks English. cancelled out and wont go back.

Added - I guess if I used Ebay a lot I would use Pay Pal and iron out the bugs , but I don't

Sun is being bought by Oracle, so no idea what the future of a lot of their software projects (Java, MySQL, OpenOffice, Solaris) will be. Nevertheless, it is still a very popular product and you can't complain about the price

Liquor stores had a competition to win a Wild Turkey poker table with chips, sadly i didnt win it, so went to eBay and picked one up for $250 using PayPal i had no dramas. Best buy ive ever made. Now i have countless new 'friends' ringing me to bring the table over for poker nites

I have bought and sold several items through ebay and all of them were successful. I use Paypal for payments and for receiving payments and never had a problem, top place to shop.

Mr Burns, original ink jet cartridges for my Officejet printer is a treat, always 30 to 50% off retail price. I think you know but I mention it anyway, just look for the negative ratings on sellers. If it is over the top I don't deal with them, cheers.

Microsoft has a free download for MS Office 2000, as a service pack which allows the earlier version of Excel to open the later version spreadsheets.
