It being International Women's day, the thought crossed my mind that we don't seem to have many women posting on ASF.

I may be totally wrong and it may be my male biases at work, but I get the feeling that most posters here are men.

Julia made many wonderful posts over the years, but I can only think of a few other posters who I know to be women.

It would be great if ASF did have a good number of women posters. Perhaps if you are a women poster, you would like to identify yourself as such on this thread.

Yes, Julia was an excellent poster and I'm sure we all miss her.

The only others I can think of who identified as such are Tink and Ann and they seem to have disappeared.

We do need more variety so hopefully some may come along.

Define Woman...

Define Woman...
Interesting post, are we still "allowed" to say woman in a post.

I have read numerous articles where what used to be called a woman is now called a "vagina owner"

To my generation that is rather vulgar but the term does get used in the MSM as a PC correct term.

Then again, my understanding is that anyone can identify as a woman whenever they feel like using the Ladies changeroom.

Not surprisingly, most VOs find this rather upsetting when a great big hairy woman that still has wobbly bits between their legs strips off to get changed.

I think it was on ASF that someone posted a link to a rape case in the USA which happened in a Ladies changeroom

I can't help but think we now have so many minorities demanding the majority comply to their sensitivities it is the majority that are being discriminated against

There are some on ASF who are women, from Conversations I've had with posters.

And some whom posters believe to be female who are men.

Having said that, the majority would be male is my guess.

And for gawds' sake do your own research on that lest I have ASIC and gawd knows how many hairy legged feminists, LGBTIQ+, LWNJ's and RWNJ's after me.

Julia is missed greatly. I had tried to arrange to meet her for a coffee prior to her passing on one of my trips to Brisbane in the Arnage. She lived from memory down Hervey Bay/Bundaberg way.

I think women are fantastic creatures and I myself am a hairy legged feminist.

I remember reading an article, maybe 20 years ago, in the press, maybe in one of those Personal Wealth sections, about an Adelaidean(ne) passionate about financial literacy and democratising investment. She mentioned the now defunct SharedGuru site, to which I paid a visit. Can't remember her name, but the timing was right . As was she.
