Greetings;

I am interested in putting together a portfolio of defense stocks, however, have noted that many Australian defense companies and their stocks are linked to overseas counterparts in the US and UK.

Does anyone know if there are any managed funds in Australia that deal specifically with defense stock, or must you purchase directly via an overseas exchange ??

Thank You, WilloW

If it's Aussie Defense stocks you're after, I have a few on my watch list:
ASB, EOS, D13, DRO
come to mind immediately. Sure, there are more and bigger ones in the US, but because of vagaries of exchange rates and politics, I find dealing with O/S accounts too cumbersome and hazardous.
Check out the latest announcements from D13 and DRO in particular. (I hold D13)

Thanks Pixel. I'll take a gander at your recommendations. I agree with your view on O/S accounts. Thanks, WilloW
