I really don't see the yuan becoming a reserve currency unless it's coupled with a material increase in the level of transparancy in the Chinese economy and government.

When Willie`s sentences and wording are broken down, I see a writer trying to catch an audience. Not saying there isn`t an element of truth in what I read, it`s just a matter of finding where the truth is.

I'm not sure what to think....

What doesn't suprise me is the Chinese ability to work out our economic woes.

The good thing about all this is:

not only are they able to achieve their goal of debilitating the USA in a game of chess, they also realise they can't ignore their greatest consumer.

Don't dismiss war if the Chinese back the US into a corner....

Lot's of water to pass under the bridge yet me thinks.
