Hi Everyone
This is only my second post and I was wondering if there was anyone out there who knew of a site where I can practice using charting basics as I learn them. What I mean is where I can put in data on what I think is right and can see if it is right or wrong and why. I have googled and can't find anything like it. At the moment I am just using historical charts. I guess it is just practising what I think I know.:D ( I don't mean paper trading). Any help would be greatly appreciated:cool:

Re: Practice/Simulation Games

At this charting site there is plenty for us beginners/novices to play with.Trial with premium data and then free with delayed data.

The screener is handy if you trade stocks too.

Don't know if this is the sort of thing you are after but the Investor R/T charting package has a free demo.

From the website:
You can try Investor/RT free of charge for as long as you like. You can download and install a fully functional version of Investor/RT, and experiment with any features of interest, for as long as you wish, free of charge. The installation will come preloaded with a few years of daily data on the Dow 30 stocks, as well as a simulated demonstration ticker, $DEMO, that generates it's own daily and intraday data, both historically and realtime. The demo supports up-to-date daily, weekly, and monthly charting and analysis on any of the 30 Dow stocks. Historical and fundamental data (as well as current quotes) are available to be downloaded on demand from Yahoo! Finance. For more information on the free data that is available from Yahoo! Finance, click here. Intraday data is only available for the $DEMO ticker in the demonstration version.
