Buying the Dip on ASX

Latest dip has ended up being quite a nice one.
(It even resulted in one mocker and a sidekick laughing stooge being put on ignore. They know who they are.)
Why mock a simple but tried and tested method of "stand back and relax" investing?
As @finicky pointed out, spec turd stocks aren't really in this category, but some turds do polish up ok.

Sitting back relaxing and musing, it seems that buy the dip should probably be re-termed as buy the correction, (and bigger dips).
FWIW, I think we will see another one (decent dip or correction) shortly.
US elections effects on our markets are unknown to me though, but I'm thinking they are just going to provide a bit of froth and volatility for the week or so.

With reports of funds leaving India, I'm guessing the market thinks Trump will win?
Otherwise Harris being indian? (confused) would be good for it.

Always fun and games, and the more I learn, the scarier it gets as I understand there's so much I have no clue about at all.

am not sure Harris would be good for anything

she sure wasted her cash getting a law degree

maybe the Indians are terrified of Harris ( or expect to get targeted by new sanctions )
