Boring stock award!

Sounds like you are both being put out of your misery.

Hills placed in administration

A $5.48m court loss has forced once-great Australian manufacturer Hills, which made the iconic Hills Hoist, into administration.
Apparantently from penny-dreadful to dead in the water. or is that a noose hanging from the once great Hills Hoist as a reminder to the dumber than dumb board of what was once.........

lucky for me HIL contractors fixed the NBN on the new digs before they got the chop , the replacement connection box might be the only investment return this decade

let's see what eventuates they still has some assets and contracts , am very surprised a mere $6 mill court settlement was the tipping point

It was the straw that broke the camel's back.

ABC Learning for me, crooked and corrupt.
Yes, I think poor management, had something to do with Yates. ?
From memory, they had a manager that decided to automate a lot of the warehouse, process and it all went South.

From the article:
Prime Minister John Howard's brother just managed to be re-elected to the board of Arthur Yates yesterday, as shareholders heckled the embattled garden group's directors.

Mr Howard, 70, said he would normally have retired as a director – a position he has held since Yates' listing in 1993 – but felt a duty to ``stay with the ship while we endeavour to turn it around''.
Mr Howard, who presided over the AGM despite still recovering from a hip operation, refused to respond to what he called an ``attack'' on his track record with companies by shareholder activist Stephen Mayne.

Only three of the more than 120 shareholders at the Yates AGM voted in favour of Mr Howard's re-election, but he survived on the basis of proxy votes.

Yates shares fell to a new all-time low of 24c yesterday before closing 4.5c weaker at 25c – a far cry from 98c last December.

Divs the only tears that this post will induce is becuse we are not on it and you are !!!!

well following those high-flying fund-managers works best when you are in the inner-circle ( and i am not )

KOV was a slight hint of knowledge for a while i sub-contracted inside ( computer ) sever rooms/farms

once i realized KOV fabricated that galvanized railing/tacks for the overhead communications cabling , it looked more appealing to me , before i was thinking scaffolding, clothes lines , non-fancy railings , .. really , really boring
