BFG - Bell Financial Group

My pick for the February comp.

BFG seems to have missed out on the January rally. No idea why.

Decent half-yearly results might rectify this in February.

Wouldn't surprise me.

I use them and find them so much better than Comsec whom I was with previously. I think they don't need to worry about price so much for their retail clients.

It's the big deals (floats etc.) that make the money though and I am expecting with the new confidence in the stock market that there should be a good year coming up!

What the hell are 'funds under advice'?

Saw on their website you can now directly buy US shares - with no brokerage for a short time.
Their presence in the USA looking good.
Premium product.
Happy to keep holding.

If you look at the latest presentation today, you can see profit at present is above last year at a particular moment in time (April) , (2.6m vs 2.3m).

A little more detail would be good Knobby. What is it about the profit guidance that makes you bullish on BFG?
The EMERGING LEADERS CONFERENCE provide some bullish guidance.

All the YTD (until the end of April) indicators show BFG well ahead of the numbers for the pcp. e.g. eps was 3.3 cps compared to 1.4 cps at the same time last year. Profit at present is above last year at a particular moment in time , (2.6m vs 2.3m)

As per previous post, I am expecting a good result. In previous years interim guidance is provided mid month so once that occurs there will be buying, especially from retirees looking for safe high yields.
My pick for the month.

And now the reality.

An excellent result.
