Nah, i use to work for an accounting firm, and we use to love it around election time (federal). Always seemed to be less mail coming in from the ATO demanding returns, demanding payments, special discount GIC for payment plans for clients and can never really recall any new notification of audits.
But then again, i may have imagined that.......
