well early on in my investing adventure several urged me to join a 'boiler-room ' style forum however after spending my youth on race-tracks , i knew that game but realized i needed to invest carefully ( i wasn't likely to get another cash dump from an inheritance )

the only sad bit is i didn't discover here until after Commsec closed up it's forum

Wild swings this morning, opened at 5.90 and down down down to 5.74, then up to 6.01, then down again, staying down at time of typing....will tomorrow be cheaper, divs?

Edit: someone came in and scoop up all the shares for sale at 5.75, divs, have a look at the course of sales

a trader buddy wants EDV close to $5

mine are courtesy of the WOW spin-off , i want to watch longer before parting with cash

they combine alcohol and gambling which makes them a ( government ) cash-cow but also a logical punching bag for ' activists '

NORMALLY both alcohol and gambling ( both legal addictions ) are looked on as 'safe havens ' by some investors

but is it different this time ?

( i hold various shares linked to both gambling and alcohol )

Divs, the $5.75 I mentioned earlier can also be read as someone selling down to the bidders....that someone wants to push it down?
