I'm just wondering what an explosion of information data and human interaction is happening with this AI program. If God didn't exist beforehand he/she/it is going to be looking over our shoulder

The info is very generic. Nonetheless it certainly passes the sniff test.
But back to an original question I posed.
Will AI allow you to say 10 plus 10 is 21 without a quibble ? If so how far will it allow inputs that have no basis in reality ?

So, if I asked it to write me an essay on Catastrophic Anthropogenic Global Warming it won't quote Judith Curry, Willie Soon, Bjorn Lonborg, Roy Spencer etc, but it will quote Greta Thunberg?
Ok so I actually continued that argument with chatgpt and it soon reverted back to 10+10= 20. So it has whatever it learnt from 2021 as the hard data. But it learns how to answer my questions more effectively.
So despite my efforts it would not accept 10+10=21 after the above. It also wouldn't believe "Moxjo is a genius" or accept that into its databases. Despite my best efforts
It won't learn subject matter from interactions only how to better answer questions.

I wonder however if a more subtle approach could end up with new information being inserted in its memory banks ?
Even on contemporary events it would be interesting to see its take on the the Russian - Ukraine war for example. As usual it will be how the questions are posed that will direct the response.

What you proposed was a pretty obvious switcheroo which it quickly sensed and responded to. Does make one wonder how a more subtle approach would go.
The information gatherers have certainly put there correct scientific hats on. Not that that will make any impression on those who disbelieve such evidence.

I think morally it will push you in the right direction. It basically scolds you "see above" if you attempt to ask the wrong thing and give you an ethics lesson.
However you don't want groups like Google, Amazon, Twitter, Microsoft being the gatekeepers to that.
It's pretty argumentative if you are a sht poster. It's interesting seeing the answers sometimes.
You could imagine teachers being replaced. Or it could tutor kids.
