Hi All,

Anyone here got a copy of Dr Howard Bandy's Quantitative Trading System book? If you do, please send me a message. I have tried on Amazon.com.au and it does not stock it. It has to be ordered from USA. In this COVID-19 world, it is difficult to get stuffs from USA.

Buy it Directly from here.
I bought mine direct not through Amazon.

Where's the Buy button?

You can learn more about the book, read additional pages, read reviews, and purchase a copy — all at Amazon.

That’s where I got mine

It maybe out of print

Have you looked it on on Kindle?

I sent an email to Howard Bandy and actually got a reply. Really nice guy.
I asked if he would make his books available in Kindle edition, as I really prefer digital books these days, for various reasons: searching later, digital highlighting and bookmarking, less (no) bookshelf space, easier to carry on a plane, read on a beach, etc.
He said he'd investigated creating Kindle format, but the code never rendered well on the Kindle.
AFAIK the only book he has on Kindle (as of this date) is Foundations of Trading: Developing Profitable Trading Systems using Scientific Techniques.
I pointed out that I agreed about the formatting on the Kindle *device*, but I read his Foundations of Trading, and other trading books, on the Kindle *application*, on either my laptop or tablet.
The black and white Kindle also doesn't render colour coded candlestick charts or colour coded programming code well.
So IMO the issue isn't Kindle/digital book formatting, but rather the small screen, black and white Kindle *device*.

AFAIK, as of now, if you want his more in-depth books, you can only get them in physical format.

P.S.: And to check this in the future, just go to Amazon, find your desired Bandy book, select other formats, and see if Kindle is listed.

Go buy a paper copy.

I bought mine secondhand online from somewhere, don't remember where but it arrived in as new condition. (edit - ebay AUD37.20 delivered).

You want the second edition published 2011, there is also a second edition dated 2015/2016 with a different cover. Don't know if the 2015/2016 content is updated. It shouldn't be as Abe/Bookfinder are still describing it as the second edition.

Currently 21 used copies on Abe Books

and 37 used copies on Bookfinder.

ebooks are on oxymoron, when I'm forced to buy one the first thing I do is print and spiral bind it so I can make penciled markups and put stickynotes in it. :wheniwasaboy:
