Letter to shareholders
March 2005
Dear Shareholder Since the decision to sell the Company’s Queensland Magnesia assets late last year, I am sure many of you are wondering what is left of the company and what the future might hold. It is to that end that I have prepared the attached overview of the Advanced Magnesium Technologies business, which now represents the main activity of the Company.
Advanced Magnesium Technologies Pty Ltd (AMT) is a wholly owned subsidiary of AMC, and holds the rights to all the technology that has been developed by AMC over a number of years......... It is certainly not without risk or challenges, and will not happen “overnight”, but once new applications are established, the upside could be considerable.
AMT’s current portfolio of proprietary technologies are world class, and in recent times, two of the technologies, AM-cover and AM-SC1, have received international recognition..........
Commercial realisation of these technologies however, takes a lot of time, effort and financial resources. Uptake of new technologies in the automotive sector requires lengthy testing, ongoing technical and design support, education and persistence. In an effort to balance the Company’s exposure to these longer term commercialisation programs, your Company is giving priority to the commercialisation of its newest alloy, AM-lite, and to the search for new opportunities that will generate nearer term profits.
Yours sincerely,
I.D. Hartnell
Managing Director

Okay, did some quick reasearch:
Maybe this explains it, annct from MD, looks like it's lost all of its Magnesium and is just a shell looking to become an IT co, the sp chart told us all we needed to know. Be careful Elninjo, this one is very high risk imho.
el_ninj0 said:Great, so they are a magnesium company with no magnesium, you'd think they might have a specific announcement for this. Thanks for the info RichKid.
p.s. before anyone gets confused (been a bit of that happening lately) I don't own, don't know the fundamentals, am not thinking of buying or anything like that, this is just a passing comment
