Notwithstanding the the threat from radical Islam, we have far more to fear from our own governments IMO.

The United States, via various acts, particularly the latest version of the PATRIOT Act, and now the recently passed Enabling Act, is effectively a dictatorship.

The Australian and UK governments are a mere few strokes of the pen away from similar outrages.

Check this youtube... the delivery is unsophisticated and unpoised, but the facts and ramifications incontrovertable.

Sorry, did not mean to discount. But as real as the radical (to be clear to differentiate fron normal Muslims) Islamist threat is, it's a sideshow to the greater threat... Radical Christianity/Judaism i.e. the Zionists.

It is the the western governments as a proxy for the Zionists who have the toys... the tehnological and legislative capacity to have a real impact on the lives of you and I; and they are using it with great stealth and the complicity of the MSM. Almost nobody knows what is happening under our very noses.

The real bogeyman resides in the far east and does not speak arabic and does not follow the teachings of Mohommad.

I did see that one. Though I understand the reason for the scarf, I thought is was a bit TOO cloak and dagger like. He of course is dead right though.

I am a female Christian who lived most of my life in a Muslim country so I know a little about this topic.

The war on terror, I believe, is about politics, oil and power. Religion is merely a distraction.

However, the problem we have with some of the Muslim youth in Australia IS about religion. Sorry, you cant blame our government for it or even try to accommodate it in the name of protecting civil rights or freedom of worship.

If loyalty and respect to the Australian way of life is not being reinforced by the parents at home, you will end up with disconnected and angry generation of Muslim youth.

I know I sound like a pathetic talk back radio host, but I feel strongly about this as I heard many stories of honor killings and knew many women who were belittled, were made to feel inadequate, all in the name of religion and culture.
