Hi Guys
My apologies as I'm sure this must have been posted before but I have trawled through a few threads now and can't seem to find an answer to my questions

I am looking for a ASX real time data feed provider for AmiBroker.
Are there any and if so any recommendations?

At this stage I'm not interested in EOD just Real Time

Thanks

Or use Interactive brokers and R/T is free.

If $160 a month is expensive you should b3 saving not trading!

$160 per month is quite expensive
they also have there own software, why use Amibroker at all ?
Plus ASX fee US$22 and for all 1926 ASX FPO symbols probably an extra fee.
Why use Amibroker? because Amibroker is customisable. As tech/a suggests IB is an alternative. IQ Feed doesn't have ASX FPO's last time I checked.

Where's the fun in that tech/a :)
Yeah I had a look at IB and wasn't convinced to be honest.
I think i'll bite the bullet and go e signal and amibroker

$160 a month is cheaper
Than the $12000 to crank up an
Interactive Brokers Account and
Free data

Good decision!

What was it That you weren’t convinced about?
I’m curious

to be honest I tend to judge a website/company by how easy it is to navigate their website and find the information I want quickly, with IB straight away it was difficult to find out what I was looking and had to go through a few searches to get some ideas of what I wanted and what they were selling and then when you work out the costs - well that's the last shot and I closed the window

When you have time you might spend the time.
The biggest broker in the world didn’t get that way
Because it’s website is clunky.

It’s more like navigating an encyclopaedia.

If you want to be able to trade anything listed
At rates that are hard to beat. With a platform
That’s got everything even from your phone.
And you’ve got the $12000

Hi
I am using Amibroker with Interactive Broker Data configured with IBController auto trading. The problem i find with data plugin is the 1min backfill limitation. Is there a developer out there who has customised the Back fill interval periods?
My aim is to use 5 min or 1hour backfill intervals to broaden my database capacity, EOD is to coarse for my liking.
