Climate change is happening too fast for migrating birds - High Country News

A study finds that climate change is causing spring to arrive earlier. Migrating birds rely on insects and plants that emerge during springtime along their routes. However, birds are failing to adapt to climate change by changing their migration patterns.

Truth is i would never hurt you.
Think about it: how many people do you know who got sick from me?

I took food out of these boxes but it was poisonous. I didn't know and ate it.
Feeling really sick right now stomach hurts The pain is getting worse, it's unbearable, I feel like dying. Who's looking after my puppies now? They are still young, they will slowly starve, cry and wonder where their mom and dad are.
After several days of immense agony, I died.

I heard you say someone poisoned the cat and how cruel that was. But u poisoned me too Is my life less important just because I'm smaller and different?
I'm nobody's pet, but I also feel pain, I also suffer, I also fear... So why do you think poison is right for me?

You know your actions don't only concern me, Mr. Owl caught my little brother poisoned him and fed him to his little ones.
Now everyone is slowly dying because of you. Do they also deserve to die?

The man in the black boxes says I must die but he makes money killing my kind. How honest can it be in your opinion?
Think about it now what will happen?
I'm gone, y'all keep putting food out, my friends come over and it all starts again. What has changed ?
"Smaller animals" you define us without realizing we are creatures just like you. We respect you and we don't hurt you, why do you hate us so much?”

Had a few of this mongrels' relatives taking up residence in our place recently.
Our best solution is the electric mouse/rat catcher which runs off 4 "D" size batteries.
Electrocution and they are gone.
Baits are put in the sheds.
To date a few dead mice and a couple of rats, but no dead owls because we can hear them at night outside the bedroom window, probably wanting a few more of the so easy to catch rodents!!!!!!

Two army horses were seen running amok through central London during morning rush hour on April 24, 2024. A white horse seemingly covered in blood was seen galloping alongside a black horse through busy streets, both of them wearing saddles and bridles. The horses were eventually rounded up by London police and were waiting to be treated. Reports say up to five army horses had thrown their riders while being exercised, injuring one soldier. A person had reportedly been thrown from a horse near Buckingham Palace.

A North Carolina bear cub that a group of people seeking a selfie pulled from a tree on April 16 was rescued by the North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission. The cub is recovering at the Appalachian Wildlife Refuge and will likely return to the wild.

The Appalachian Wildlife Refuge advised people to be mindful that it's not uncommon for wild mothers to leave their young alone for periods during the spring and summer as they forage for food.
