Wasn't that impressed with the women of Hungary or the Czech Republic but can speak very highly of Slovakia and I can't wait to get to Belarus and Russia.

You have high standards to not rate Hungarian women. I thought they were amazing :D

Yeah, Moscow is great, far better than snobby Europe. :)

once in the UK tune into teletext on the tv and find your destination and ring and grab whats cheapest for yourself.Myself I would fly down to Faro (Algarve ) with cheapest hired car thats available on teletext ( ie should come in the same package ).....If your foolhardy like mois ,ignore the bond insurance for the car and drive the hell out of it into Spain Cordoba ,Granada etc etc etc , south of France and so on,if you get close to Gibraltor ,hmmm you might get a ferry over to Morocco, the road just rolls out on every corner.
Realist !!!! treat yourself to a bucket full of sardines and 3 bottles of PORT ....be an adventurist leave Kontiki tours to the tourists .

I'm a bad enough driver as it is, driving on the right hand side of the road may be the end of me...

Also Contiki tours will have chicks on them, Mmmm women.

On the other hand they'll be Aussie or Kiwi or American chicks. I want European chicks, when in Rome do the Romans....

Mmmm Roman chicks.. :p:

Yeah that sounds good, Contiki tour Switzerland, Venice.. ahhh yes. awesome!

As soon as you land in England, available at Gatwick or Heathrow Airports, get hold of free maps of the London Underground, Bus routes etc., if you drive, get a satnav, as it's hopeless trying to find your way anywhere. A blind man could find his way in Sydney better than a fully sighted one in London.

Plan bus routes carefully, it costs £1-50 on the same bus no matter how far you travel, or you can get day passes. Taxis are mega expensive ( timed meters ), so use mini-cabs ( priced on mileage ), good idea to ask how much it's going to cost at the start of the journey, otherwise you could be well and truly ripped-off - they have no prices displayed and vehicles are not marked except for discs on the corner of front and rear screens, there are lots of rogue cabs around. There are night buses, numbered N53 for instance, that are available throughout the night.

If you arrive at Heathrow ( London Airport ) there is an underground service into London. From Gatwick there is a rail service to London Victoria. That will save you an unbelievably priced taxi ride.

As to going to the countryside villages in November, well that's up to you, not sure any locals do that. Getting about by car is very slow going at the best of times. Sydney is a country village compared with London and beaches are a two and a half hour journey away, at least.

There is a free Aussie Newspaper at metal stands, here and there, in the City of London that is useful.

Don't be put off by all this as every Aussie does well in London. Two weeks isn't long though. Try the pubs and pub river boats along the Thames, start at Cleopatras Needle near the Enbankment Underground, go West not East. Piccadilly Circus Area, Charing Cross Road and China Town are interesting Pub and club areas.

You need about 2 years, not two weeks.

Well you can't drive on the right, your going to Europe to pick up some chicks.......geee sounds like the women will have you for breakfast. Hmmm that geezer who runs the show for Cultural affairs in London ...Paterson? he can reel them in, you've got competition.

Realist, I notice Miss World won by Miss Czeck, (she's blonde - whereas you are sorta greenish yellow). - and runner up Miss Rumania.

I'm sure you'll find their phone numbers - try yellow pages at any of those Contiki bus stops in Europe - "Miss World applicants".

The Aussie girl came 3rd - so you can always look forward to coming home as well. Ahhh what a country this is. Best of all worlds. ;)

ps and at least you'll understand the english version (as against the czech) of "i never kiss on a first date goldilocks!!" lol ( well i think its funny anyway ;)

Just got back from Belgium today, spent 3 days in Brugge in the west. Very nice little city with historic architecture and charm. Belg also has the finest beer on the planet if your into it, same deal with chocolate, girlfriend put on 2 kgs in the time we were there ;) She's still looking dam fine tho...

I live in Amsterdam at the moment, it too has it's attractions. Beautiful city, great museums and the red light area is an eye opener, also the coffee the shops. Rest of Holland is pretty drab tho, but... great looking women, that's my reasoning for being here ;)

Shame bout your timing, cause i'd recommend Iceland for a few days as well...

Have fun...

word of warning - dont take photos of the girls in the shopwindows in Amsterdam. lol - specially not in mid minter - Know a bloke who did, and he had a bucket of freezing water (midwinter) tossed over him (and his camera).
Seems its ok to look but not to flash - I mean not to photograph. ;)
