Dark clouds from French election cleared, markets around the world rallied, NASDAQ smashed 6000 closed at record high and Trump is about to deliver tax cut today. In the absence of any potential negative news on the horizon, would today be the day ASX200 breaks 6000?

You like buying high then obviously , while you buying i am selling/shorting . Do yourself a favour and save your money for a while and buy a dip of significance , around june opex usually a good spot fwiw

I prefer to wait for the first Taxi driver to mention that it's a good time to be buying shares. So if anyone hears this would they please inform the forum. More than one would be significant.

Haven't heard it from a taxi driver but I've heard it from a tradie who presently owns no shares or other investments apart from whatever they've got in their superannuation fund.

Reminds me of when I was doing a quick shop at Woolies a while back and a tradie was on his phone chatting at full volume to his mate. Asks him if he's trading any shares. Bloke on the phone said "Yeah but nah, I been doin' it for 'bout 2 munfs and I'm makin' a killin', it's f**kin' easy as bro, nah you should get into it aye".
