@Knobby22 She must have been the only competitor in the Oceania competition then. No, breakingas in dance.. She is a Prefessor and a lecturer at Macquarie University. She has also written papers , as a Professor on hip hop and street dance and works as a professional dancer on the side.
Believe it or not, she did win the Oceana competition to get selected.
Who Is Raygun? Meet the Olympic Aussie Breakdancer Who Went Viral for Her Dance Moves
Australian breakdancer Raygun may not have medaled at the 2024 Olympics, but she left the dance floor as a viral sensation. Here’s everything to know about Raygun.people.com
Some of these Olympians are beyond cringeworthy. Blubbering on about a silver or bronze not good enough, or even worse still finishing 4th or further down the list.Today's Australia. Be utterly mediocre and cringe, make a million.
Higher, faster, stronger? Meh.
Embarrassing your country is the go these days.
They should have come last, then they could make real coin. Some of these Olympians are beyond cringeworthy. Blubbering on about a silver or bronze not good enough, or even worse still finishing 4th or further down the list.
Probably the biggest dud at the Paris Games and is now a celebrity. The left loves mediocrity, the end result of equity. This is why the left loves Raygun
She wasn't the biggest dud. She was the smartest.Probably the biggest dud at the Paris Games and is now a celebrity.
Woopy do dar.
@The Triangle I will rephrase my previous post. She wasn't the biggest dud. She was the smartest.
Anyone want to bet this was not entirely staged 100% to get more publicity than she would have gotten from getting up bronze a silver or gold or simply competing.
What are the odds she has a friend who works as a publicist or at News corp because News corp seems to have this is one of their main stories and it's probably shared it with people at other media sites. It is simply an irrelevant story that has been pushed and pushed and pushed in the media.
This is the problem with fake sports in the Olympics. It's pretty obvious if you throw a tennis match or purposely miss hit your golf balls or walk when you should be running. But if you just dance badly? Who knows if you're just incompetent or purposely throwing in the towel.
Maybe the Olympics should include theater and painting and maybe some improv next?
Anyways she's won her 15 minutes of fame and all the money that comes with it. A thousand times more valuable than a random gold medal.
