. I suppose that makes me a boofhead too in your eyes
You got that bit right.
. I suppose that makes me a boofhead too in your eyes
And today's Political Boofhead is ...........
Gordon Brown!

And he apologizes by saying he misunderstood her..... yeah sure!
I wonder what Kevin Rudd would say in his car as he drives away from any spin & grin meets. I'm sure he would never put anyone down!:
We have a guy up here who is not only a boofhead, but he looks like a boofhead...Qld health minister, Paul Lucas.
I wonder what Kevin Rudd would say in his car as he drives away from any spin & grin meets. I'm sure he would never put anyone down!:
Meanwhile it's almost comical to see boofhead Paul Lucas on TV each night, apologising profusely and imploring health workers to be patient while the mess is sorted out.
Yep he's very high on my list. But this clown is also Deputy Premier, and that other boofhead Anna Bligh has gone on a jaunt overseas and left him in charge
I reckon, bunyip, we should have a Boofhead State of Origin contest. With Rudd, Swan, Bligh and Lucas in our team, Qld couldn't lose.

The Vics would have a crack with this All-Star assembly:
Jeff Kennett (captain)
The Kirner and Cain double act
Theo Theophanus
Peter Costello
Robert Doyle
Enough said. Bracksy would be on the bench.
Anything but a boofhead imo. We could sorely do with his political and rhetorical skills right now.Peter Costello's biggest failing was that he was condescending but he was no boofhead.
Seeing the strife the current government are in he must be kicking himself.Anything but a boofhead imo. We could sorely do with his political and rhetorical skills right now.
No list of political boofheads would be complete without mentioning Gough Whitlam. It's debatable whether any Australian PM has rivalled Rudd for incompetence and lack of common sense, but Whitlam surely came close. His failings were too numerous to mention here.
He was so bad that the Governor General sacked him and appointed the opposition as caretaker government until an election could be organised.
Whitlam of course was less than impressed, and vowed and declared that the Australian public would vote him and his government back into power to show what they thought of the Governor General's action.
Whitlam lost the election in a landslide defeat.
A couple of decades later when Mark Latham led the ALP into an election campaign, Latham publicly declared that he modelled himself on Gough Whitlam. He could hardly have made a more foolish admission.
Well, I'm sure if he wanted to return, he'd only have to say the word.Seeing the strife the current government are in he must be kicking himself.

He would make mincemeat of Rudd & Co.
He has more political nous than Abbott, Turnbull and all the rest of the Libs put together.

How about former QLD premier Wayne Goss - I reckon a boofhead like him would just about be a dead cert as team captain!
Goss as Capt..he would be struggling to make the team after including the political numbskull's from the rights side of the QLD political spectrum.
In order of incompetence and corruption.
- Sir Johannes "Joh" Bjelke Petersen (Presided over the most corrupt Govt in modern Australian history)
- Russ Hinze (Minister for police in the most corrupt Govt in modern Aust history)
- Pauline Hanson (Convicted and jailed for fraud)
- Brian Austin (Convicted minister in the most corrupt Govt in modern Aust history)
- Don Lane (Convicted minister in the most corrupt Govt in modern Aust history)
- barnaby joyce (has his best years of incompetence still to come)
- Bill O'Chee
- Flo Bjelke Petersen
