AFL dream team time!

Finals time in the AFL Dream Team. How's everyone looking? How has everyone gone over the season?

I used up all my trades

Used all my trades...

My awesome ruck of Sanderlands and Cocks came unstuck a while back when they were both (& Cocks still is) injured.

Roughhead's & Franklin's inconsistency has hurt alot.

But my backline has been solid all year..

Good luck to all (in the bottom half though...)

COuld be interested, although I prefer SuperCoach. Anyone interested in a SuperCoach league? (Happy to start a separate thread on it rather than hijack this one.)

I prefer Supercoach too - interesting development this year in the ability to swap player's positions if they're listed as both a mid/fwd (for example).

Already in 3 leagues.

Geelong player to face court on drugs charges: report

http://www.theage.com.au/afl/afl-ne...rt-on-drugs-charges-report-20100203-ncfj.html

Police said a 25-year-old man was arrested this morning as part of an ongoing drug operation investigation in Geelong.

The man has been charged with possessing and trafficking cocaine.

This morning’s arrest follows a series of drug raids executed on four properties in the Geelong area last Friday.

Police said the raids saw police seize over $3000 believed to be the proceeds of crime and $50,000 worth of drugs from the properties.

what is the difference between the 2? they look the same to me?

Doesn't matter if it's any Vic club, as they just sweep it under the carpet.
WCE's however, well that is a different kettle of fish?
League code 208805, for ASF Dream Team.
After first time last year, I am ready to kick ****!

The scoring is a little different - it's a bit more dynamic in SC, and now with position swapping there is another element to consider when setting up a team.

I'll be doing both this year anyway :)

It's Matthew Stokes, played against him up here.

I thought he was smarter then that, could be the end of his career.

As a Cat fan, I'm very disappointed in this news.
Could be the end of his career for Mathew if he is proved guilty of trafficking even if he doesn't take it himself.
Seems that the penalty for trafficking is much worse than actually taking banned substances, think of Ben Cousins who has been allowed to resume his career.

Has anyone used any 'trading techniques' or analysis to decide what players to purchase?

Nope i haven't. But last year i used 'stop losses' with my players... got rid of the crap ones quickly... also ran out of trades quickly!!

I'm in the middle of selecting my team now. It's hard to pick the ones that you think are cheap and will come good. Jay Nash had a dull 2009 with Essendon and has been traded to port - he is around $200k, and i think he is in for a much better season. Jay Nash could be the next Rodan or Symes
