with the standard a lot of the universities let through these days its hard to tell

when i first started at uni i was told "the only thing you'll get kicked out and raked through hot coals for is plagiarism".... now, it seems as though a lot of people cant get through without it!

When it comes to Photonics,Lasers,Maths/Trading and systems testing maths he is so far in front it doesnt matter.

As for the rest of life---I get the call.
Oh and his employers are smarter---stuff he is working on is just amazing!

I asked Kris why a Doctorate?
His reply was.
I'll be the only one invited for the position!

His Post doc was an invitation and he has 3 offers in the pipeline.

my brother is the same... he's never had to look for a job in his life - THEY come to him.

even before he finished uni he was getting job offers from different companies every single week for the last year.

I've never known that the 80/20 rule was actually called the Pareto principle.

I think I might use it when I look at my client list. Keep the 20% that are a pleasure to assist and provide the bulk of revenue and spend more time with them that I would otherwise have wasted dealing with troublesome and energy sapping clients.

A nice application of "Work Smart, not Hard."
