Banana Benders at it again!

Seems like some things never change in Queensland.........

http://www.theaustralian.news.com.au/story/0,25197,25850817-5006786,00.html

As Tony Koch says in another article "Same dungheap, just different flies."

The same old story. Not long ago we were boasting about being "The Smart State." We soon got disabused of that idea. We have now regained the crown of "The Corrupt State."

The smart ones in Qld are Labor ex-politicians, most of whom are now very rich or are in plum jobs. A few are in jail.

Banana is a good analogy. Not only are they bent, they go rotten very quickly.

Well boys......and I do mean BOYS!
I thought that I could wait longer than 5 Minutes to remind you that The Beloved New South of Wales took corruption to heights unheard of, in the not too distant past. Who the hell do you think all the bloody idiots rorting the Queensland system got their best ideas from?

I know it's not perfect up here is it?

I mean we don't have the best climate in Austrlia....wait a minute....We Do!
I mean we don't have cheaper housing up here...wait a minute....We Do!
I mean we don't have better fishing up here....wait a minute....We Do!
I mean we don't have lower unemploment up here...hang on...We Do!

I know it's not perfect up here, but until somewhere else is, it'll do me.:)

Aaaaaaaaahhh QLD ... rotten place, full of Queenslanders! Should have been in WA when the 80's was in full swing. Dallas Dempster, Yossi Goldberg, Alan Bond, Laurie Potter, Brian Burke. You blokes wouldn't know what corruption was ! Look at this guy. Even Kevin Rudd is sh!tscared of this bloke.

Sorry Trainspotter, we now have the crown and you have Buckley's chance of getting it back while we have Ms Bligh running things.

Oh SHOOT ! I forgot about good old Capn Bligh. No mutiny yet?

Rudd and Swan learnt their craft in Qld.

Courier Mail
Federal Labor is charging business $7500 to attend tomorrow's four-day national conference and has warned them to sign up early to get the meetings with ministers they want.

"Ministerial meetings are limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis," the conference registration form states.

Sheesh ! $7500 to buy a ministers ear? What if I want two ears to chew on?

lol, as they say ..."love your work Q55" lol

PS I'm originally from Qld as well lol.
These days the mother in law's from NSW, so I am too.

Ms Bligh seems determined to deny that there is any problem. She needs to take some notice when so many people are speaking out, i.e. Tony Fitzgerald, then Robert Needham, Chairman of the CMC on the 7.30 Report tonight.

Pretty funny, too, how smartly Peter Beattie hit the airwaves to declare that under his government all was just hunky dory - the most honest government Queensland has ever had.

Yeah, right.

The funniest thing is that people don't think the same thing happens in Victoria or New South Wales..

Julia you really need to lighten up! As I have said elsewhere here, the WHOLE bloody lot of them are crooked how can it be helpful to jump up and down and point fingers at one side while blissfully wearing blinkers for the other side's indiscretions? Right now this country needs a group of highly skilled managers, certainly NOT polititions.:banghead:
