What about the woman who helped him in his concocted storey????
I suggest that the penalty he received is simply beause he was a judge. If it was your average mug punter I doubt if it would be anything like this, probably only a fine.
waz said:Last nite I was sickened when I saw a 15 year old girl steal a wallet from another woman at Maccas in Pitt street.
haha that would be funny.........I hope he doesnt meet any former clients in his new place of abode![]()

This one is not dead - when it came out that his original alibi was playing a harp and worrying about dry cleaning bills for her new wings this woman stepped in and said that she was driving the car.
I have some pity for her - you can imagine this ahole as his story began to unravel - "Believe me dear, I know how this works, as long as you stick to the story then they'll let me off. I really need your help" etc etc.
Given his 2 years, I's say that she could be facing jail time too and all for being suckered and being willing to help. Silly in hindsight but I'd reckon in the same position many of us could have found ourselves in her position.
He was dead unlucky some Jurno saw the name on the court list and went along for a look then her boss decided to google the "drivers" name and found out she was dead so Iron fell decided to concoct another lie and kept digging a bigger hole...just like out pollies do ... could be worse he could have been forced to live with Robots and talking about RE appreciating.Couldn't have happen to a nicer bloke.
Instead of jail time, what about a ridiculous amount of time doing 'community service'. I am sure they, the perpetrators, can 'think' about what they have done, while benefiting the community ... just can't see the benefit for us tax payers having to fork out money for food and lodging for this (what danger to the community are these folk) ... yes there is the 'principle' of what they have done ... but at the end of the day ... who benefits from having a lock and key attitude with this.
