Following the latest news and airport images.
The west has been in Afghanistan for the last 20y.
The US spent 83 billions yes billions training and army a local army..which surrendered mostly without firing a shot.
In the 20y, 4.9 millions Afghans migrated out of that sxxchole to go to the west, huge majority..young males in their prime.
The estimated number of talibans is 75000...
If instead of "welcoming" these 4.9 millions of migrants, we would have send these guys back, maybe, just maybe you could have people there actually fighting back and building that country up
If you empty a country from the wiser, more educated and enterprising populating, you are left with the worst
So the west would be well advised to stop following the same process with the whole of Africa and many latin america countries.
And the PC brigade to wake up at effects of feel good measures..i can dream
Lastly, is that the reason Australia is preventing its people from leaving?, afraid of what will be left?:)

Australia might have been in a good position to block those people coming here...

IF....

We didn't go there in the first place.

Don't forget the weapons and tech, that the disciplined Afghan army has handed over.?
It will be interesting to see how Australia looks in 50 years.
What stands between China and its resources? India, Malaysia and Indonesia.;)
Thank god, they've got our back. ?

After 50 y of closed borders and lockdown, and 40y of socialism, we will be ripe for the picking by China as the new north korea cousin.
