Who is your hero? Is it someone vaguely foreign or someone indigenous?
Tom Cruise what an inspiration.

Boggo,As far as a genuine indigenous Australian I think that Vincent Lingiari would have to be an outstanding example of anyone's hero.
Bear in mind that he stood up to be counted long before the white ambulance chasing lawyers saw big dollars in promoting the aboriginal "cause".

Boggo,
By indigenous I mean that whom is born here. I wasn't being racist to differentiate by colour or ancestral race - just to clarify.![]()
I can't see why any celebrity is a 'hero' unless they have distinguished themselves in some other capacity.

The true heroes imo are those people who go into a burning house to save someone they don't even know, risking their own lives. Ditto saving someone from drowning.
And the unacknowledged thousands of parents who bring up children with severe disabilities, receiving little help or support from governments or the community.
